My repair person was terrific. He quickly fixed the minor problems I was having with my 2 year old microwave and gave me several great suggestions for future issues I might have. My only negative with Sears Home Services is the $249. "diagnostic" fee that was charged for this visit. When I made my appointment for this person to come to my home I already had "diagnosed" the two issues, 1. turning off the Reset Filter red flashing light and 2. Replacing the 2 light bulbs. I informed my repairperson about these issues and he quickly resolved them. I should NOT have been charged this exorbitant amount for this small service call. Even the technician agreed and said that other appliance "diagnostic" fees are much less, his hands were tied by the Sears Home Services policy.

The technician who repaired my dishwasher was fantastic. I would recommend him any day. I was, however, extremely disappointed that it took 50 minutes and being transferred to SIX different people who all asked me the same question, before I was able to schedule a repair. All because I have a protection agreement. Funny….within a day of trying to schedule this appointment my internet security provider notified me that there were 18 different internet searches using the same information I provided to the 6 different people I was transferred to. Was it a coincidence? I doubt it. Sears should really look into the people they have contracted to provide customer service.
