This tech refused to come to my home to look at my dryer. He said the work order said washer. I called and got the order corrected and spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor assured me the tech would still come out. . The tech called later and still refused to come. When I called the second time the person said I never called earlier and changed the order and there was nothing she could do. Total lie. Even after I explained, I had spoke to a supervisor that morning and I had already spoke to someone from my warranty insurance where on their end it clearly says dryer and got that Corrected she claimed that never happened. This is the worst service and the tech could have easily come out and was being a jerk about it.

The technician GARY from today was WONDERFUL! The appointment process was the worst I have ever seen. Messed up tickets, cancelled appointments. Having to leave our fridge ilinplugged for 8 hours TWICE. I will not use SEARS again.

On Nov 19th my 84 year old mother had Sear's repair come to her home to repair her dryer that had stopped working. They replaces the heating element, but in the process could not reassemble the dryer properly. They believed they had fixed the problem, but the next day the dryer was not working. Another tech was sent to her home on the 21st. That tech contacted the first tech and they both determined that the dryer was not repairable and that my mother would need to replace her dryer. That they would refund her the price of the repair on the 19th but she would still need to pay for the service call. She agreed and I helped her purchase a new dryer. The repair portion of the bill was $521.05 and she was informed it would take 4 to 6 weeks to see the credit on her card. On December 7th she called them and asked about the credit, she was assured they were working on it and that she would get it. Around Jan 10th she inquired again and was told the same thing. On Jan 22nd I inquired and requested a supervisor, who told me mother did not qualify for the refund and when I told her I needed to file a formal complaint she literally hung up on me. She had all my mother's contact info and did not reach out so it was not an accidental disconnect. We called back and spoke to another gentleman who took all the information an had the ability to see the whole situation with all of the calls and was forwarding all of this to their management team. He assured us that we would have a response in 3 to 5 working days. On the 29th we inquired again and the representative had no record of that complaint and says that no one ever requested the refund. She was putting me through to a supervisor. After 30 minutes on hold the line was disconnected. My mom is 84 years old. She survives on social security. She had to pay for the repair or she would have had to pay interest that she can not afford. I really feel that this is elder abuse. I have REPEATEDLY ASKED TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT AND RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO DO IT. Do not allow seniors in your family to use this service.

I actually had a bad experience with the repair man that came to my house to repair my refrigerator. He was not listing to my concerns and on top of that he had a careless attitude. I would give a zero star review but unfortunately I cannot. I am also upset because I don't know how it some how they made a review on my behalf on Google and gave themselves a 5 review. I am not happy about that at all. I have provided a picture of the review.

My experience with Sears Home. Services started very well. I called SHS to schedule an appointment with a service technician. My washer needed some attention. A technician came out and found the problem. Hello said there was a part that needed to be replaced. He ordered the part and after it arrived the technician returned. He repaired the washer and it seemed to work fine. After a few days the washer wasn't draining. I called SHS and scheduled another technician come out. The tech arrived and said the washer needed 3 parts replaced. He ordered the parts and advised me to call SHS when they arrived and another appointment would be scheduled for him to come back. 2 parts have arrived but the third one hasn't. It's been weeks since this happened. I call in every week to ask about when the part will arrive but the rep says they're working on getting it rushed out, it has priority status, but it still hasn't arrived. They have been kind enough to send me a check to pay for laundry cost but going to the laundry mat every few days is very burdensome. It has been a burdensome issue. This all started August 7th. The information I was given indicates that if the appliance cannot be fixed it will be replaced with a new one. Well, here I am, 7 weeks later and no washer and no new parts. I've been very patient with the representatives I've spoken to, no yelling or cursing but it hasn't made any difference. I called again yesterday and the representative said the part will be here next week. I think I've given them plenty of time to resolve the issue. The next call to SHS will be to cancel my appliance coverage. The 1 star is for the representatives just answering my call.

Though I was happy with the technician, I was not happy with what followed afterwards. The technician came on April 30, assessed the AC, and then had to order some parts. He returned Thursday, May 8. He came in my house, went up to the attic, then went outside to the AC. I’m assuming to put in the parts. He left without saying goodbye. AND did not check to see if my AC was working.Two days later on Saturday. It was very hot in Chula Vista, so I went to turn on the air conditioner, it did not work. The AC has been working fine for the last seven years since I bought it, but now that Sears touched my air conditioner, it is not working. I called Sears Home Services on Saturday, May 10 and they gave me the runaround. They said that my Sears warranty plan does not cover fixing the air conditioner. And if I wanted to fix it, would cost me $119 to diagnose the AC, and then 25% off the cost to fix the AC. I asked them to waive the $119 diagnostic fee because my AC was working perfectly fine before their technician worked on it. They then mentioned about my warranty, not covering fixing the AC only doing a tuneup. So then I told him the same thing again, that I understand that my warranty does not cover fixing the AC, but that my AC was working perfectly until Sears put their hands on. They said they’re going to return my call to some kind of a repair team and put me on hold and of course the line went dead. I called back three different times on Saturday to no avail. Today, Monday, May 12 I called again. I spoke to someone at the warranty office and they told me that my warranty plan does not cover fixing the AC. I told him that I understand that, but since Sears Home Services messed up my perfectly working AC again that I did not believe I deserved to pay the $119 diagnostic fee and that they should wave it because my AC was working perfectly fine before the technician worked on it. Again, repeating myself again like on Saturday. So again they said that because my warranty did not cover fix of the AC……blah, blah, blah. As you can see it was a catch 22. I’m extremely disappointed with Sears so now I have contacted an AC Repair Company in my local community to come out and look at my air conditioner. From now on if anything is not covered under my warranty plan from Sears, which unfortunately does not expire for another year since I paid for a 2 year, I will never ever use Sears Home Services again. I will post this on social media. I will post this on Nextdoor so that other people do not find themselves in the same situation as me. They would not allow me to speak to anyone higher up that could make a decision. I find it fraudulent work and business on behalf of this company.

Still having the same problems. Last service person took off door seal and could get it back on. He sealed it with packing tape and ordered parts that he wasn't sure was available. The status of the parts is still on research This was on June 23
