I would like sears home services to send an actual technician that can replace the part on our appliance.

When I made the appointment I told them the stove was over 50 years old and I was calling for my 93 year old in-laws. I offered to send pictures, but the person on the phone assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I asked about the diagnostic fee of $ 119. He told me it would only be charged if we declined service, but would be waived if we got service.nHe then tried to up sale me more products. I told him I wasn't interested. He then made me an appointment for the same day 3/8/24 1pm-5pm. I told him, are you sure that is today and its already 2:30pm. He said yes. After Hanging up. I received a call from the technician and he said he was over booked and canceled and set it up for Monday 3/11/24. The Technician Peter K. arrived, he opened the door to the oven and said there was no model number and he wasn't going to remove the oven to see if he could find one. There wasn't anything he could do in the 4 minutes he was there. He told us that, this is usually what happens with the older ovens. He still charged the $ 119.00 for labor not diagnostic fee. I think this is taken advantage of the elderly and not acceptable.

Ruben had a new person with him. They told my daughter they could not fix dishwasher without a PLUMBER taking off the plate at the bottom. This is not the first time they serviced this washer. They have always removed & replaced that part. They even FORGOT to replace it once & replaced it when the part came. I tried to call CS without success. They had no explanation and transferred me to multiple FAKE numbers when I asked for a supervisor to explain. I do not have a problem with Ruben. I do have a problem having to pay someone else for something they have always done.
