We’ve owned a Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator for about five years now and what I learned this summer is: Never buy anything from Sears, never buy anything brand-named Kenmore and, most importantly, never buy an extended warranty from Sears unless you want the stress, frustration, and futility of 18 unsuccessful repair appointments (three of those were no-shows and once I was forced to reschedule for the next business day). Between 6/21/24 and 9/9/24 six different field techs showed up 14 times and I still have a defective refrigerator. Two of the six field techs tried to convince me that it’s unreasonable for me to expect our Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator to keep milk below 40°. Bullshit and good riddance.

Their field technician is worthless. Everytime they fix something, a new issue arises on the same day. Coincidence? I'm on my 6th problem now in a 2 month period, problems that I never had before. Now it won't drain the water to enter into the Rinse cycle. 2 thumbs way down! And Sears? I don't have a Facebook account.

How can you do a tune up on a furnace without one single thing no flashlight, tool, no rag nothing. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of this warranty Service! due to this. All the prior years it was the same gentleman that would come. He was very thorough, and concerned about his job performance. This time it was completely shameful service. This guy must of thought he was dealing with a complete idiot. The person showed up at 12:51 left at 1:10. The appointment time was from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. He did not bring any tools, a rag, a flash light nothing with him. He Used my dishwashing liquid to clean the my dirty filter, without a hose he caused a big nasty dirty mess in my walk way. This person did absolutely nothing. How do you do a tune up without even a screwdriver? He saw I had vinegar and ask to use some to make sure the pipe was not clogged, which after he did that he tried to convince me that I needed a $395.00 part. Saying if the pipe ever gets clogged it could do water damage to my garage. At which point I laughed and said no. He then said he could do it off clock for $135.00. I waited around all day for this appointment just to be taken advantage of! I could just see this person taking advantage of elderly and everyone else! Everyone I know who has this type of warranty need it to feel a little secure that they will not be caught off guard if an emergency where to happen just to be lied to, and taken advantage of! Terrible! This person should be watched, very strange person to be working for Sears. Going into peoples homes! In the past I have been alway pleased to see Sears would be the provider when I requested my seasonal checks ups and tuneups, not anymore, not after this!

Told my tenants to call a plumber. When I had a plumber look at the dishwasher and was told it needed a new rubber seal from an appliance tech. What a huge economic mistake I made with trusting your technicians.
