After having a horrible experience waiting for two weeks. Having 2 appointments where no one showed up. This technician came after hours and repaired my machine. Thank you for finally coming and a quick repair. Excellent job. I am finally washing my clothes. Thank you.

Repaired oven just fine, no issues there. However I specifically asked him not to turn off house electricity after he said he had to turn off kitchen. I told him to first tell me because I had my computers. He still went ahead and turned off all electricity causing me to lose work and recover my computers. Also, left a mess, didn’t clean up after he finished. I had to sweep the floor and throw away the repaired part.

Renee the tech is excellent and efficient. If the rating is just for him, he will get 5/5 stars. But Sears not so much. Sears scheduled and confirmed the appointment multiple times via text and email but they no showed 2x without any word. We wasted 2 Saturdays but no showed despite confirming. On the 3rd reschedule, they confirmed they will come but on the last minute, they cancelled. So all in all, wasted 3 Saturdays. I called the call center multiple times, they are empathetic but not really helpful. Finally Rene came today and did the work fast and efficiently.

When we replaced the part in question, there was still a water leak. The line from part up into the unit was cracked and had whole.

TERRIBLE! I chose between 1p-5p for today and the tech showed up WAY before that! Now he's saying he can't come back! Why bother to ask what window the customer wants?!

I let the know it needed shocks when I scheduled the appointment, they did not bring parts. They said it needs shocks. $119.00 charge to tell me what I already know. Estimate $700.00 to fix poor quality original parts. Buy new machine from someone else. Now I see why Sears is out of business. I was able to buy a full set of shocks on Amazon for $33. Probably not original equipment quality and a 1/2 hour of my own labor problem solved. Save $650 in the process. What a rip-off it would have been at $700.00

The new artificial intelligence (AI) management of the repair service was quite inadequate. I made an appointment then canceled it in favor of another time. AI kept the old appointment in addition to the newer one and told me it had been canceled. Then after I waited all morning the technician failed to show up for the valid appointment. I called and Samantha (AI) told me the service technician was scheduled to be there at 11:18 AM, but that never happened. Another appointment was quickly made for the following morning 8;00-12:00 time frame with assurance that a preliminary phone call would announce with sufficient notice beforehand which didn’t happen. Instead it was about 7:50 AM when the technician arrived at the work site unannounced and wondered why no one was present to let him in! Then after all of that when the needed part number to fix the washing machine was finally determined with considerable difficulty because the system didn’t recognize the washing machine model number, it was discovered that the part could only be sent to the rental apartment location service address and not to the landlord, which would not work because it couldn’t be received by renters in any of the 4 apartments. After all of that, it ended up with no possibility of receiving the needed part and no prospect of repair but a charge of $119 for the visit. Sears service has always been exemplary in the past but seems lately to have deteriorated, sorry to say. I hope something can be done to improve the efficiency of your service.
