Technician had us waiting past the time window. Our time window was 1pm - 5pm . He didn't show up until 5:30 and he didn't do any service to our bbq. We waited a month in a half to get this appointment and the tech and Sears service was very disappointing!

Over a month, 3/18/2017, and refrigerator still not repaired. Needs a new door and the part is no longer available.They wanted to put a Black door on a White side by side refrigerator. After several phone calls to Sears ( they NEVER called me but sent several emails requesting quality of service surveys) they finally advised they would replace the refrigerator under warranty but now have to wait for a service person to come out 4/28/2017, stand in front of the refrigerator to call the service center and advise them the refrigerator needs to be replaced. Then wait for someone from STAC to contact me, then go to Sears to select a new refrigerator, then wait for delivery. No wonder Sears is down 58% and in trouble....

Can't understand why it took Sears Appliance Repair specialist, so long to come up with the solution to fix my Samsung Chef. It took them about five visit. We called them for the same problem and all the time they tried to quick fix it with no success. Believe it or not the first repair person told me why did spend so much money and I could have spent way less for a better refrigerator. Do you believe that a Sears Appliance repair person saying that, it made my blood boil. That same repair person came back second time and did not repair the refrigerator. The third one had a better attitude but did not fix it. The fourth just sealed the ice maker and told us not to call back within thirty days. The last one wasn't cordial but he repaired the problem. As of today, crossing my fingers, it is okay. With this kind of service I don't think of getting anything from Sear anymore.

I paid $300 in early Feb 2017 for a contract that included a visit to repair my Electrolux oven, up to $500 in parts, and a one year guarantee on the repair. Sears cancelled the first schedule repair date without calling, they just sent an email rescheduling in two weeks. They just rescheduled for two weeks later. The second date, they cancelled that day, again no call, and this time they didn't even bother to email a new date. We had to call them. Because we wouldn't be home in two weeks when they could next come, it was scheduled for repair in three weeks. This time the repair person did come and figured out what parts to order. He was very very pleasant, my complaint is not with him. He explained that he would need to bring a second person with him because the repair was complicated. That repair was scheduled in two weeks hence. He called that morning to apologize, saying that although he had requested a second person, a second person was not available. We rescheduled in another two weeks. They cancelled again because the repair person was sick. Rescheduled again for two weeks, and after four cancellations and the one visit to determine parts, the two repair people arrived and fixed the Electrolux... in late April. Never did any senior management person call to say something about all the cancellations. The scheduling number folks have no idea about the long history of cancellations. There were other problems with the lack of integration between their appointment number and the reality of what is actually happening. Again, this criticism is not of the repair persons, both were very pleasant. Sear's customer service is completely broken, they apparently have no one "minding the store".

I have been shopping at Best Buy for 20 years and decided to give Sears a try. Had a technician come out to do a check up on my washer and dryer for 49.95 each, cleaning, running diagnostic tests, etc. Everything was in great condition according to the technician. Never having any problems in the almost 3 years I've owned my LG w/d as soon as I did my first load of laundry I got an error message 1E. So i would have to pause and restart every load of laundry I did that first weekend since the repair. Bummer. Then I called the number on the receipt to report my problem and they want to send someone out for a diagnostic fee of 79.95. I was outraged since i never had seen this error before especially on every load. I will never use Sears repair services again in my life or will I buy any more applicances from Sears. Very disappointed.

Showed up , installed ice maker unit in refrigerator , told us should start working in three days . Left no contact phone # , no call back . Tell me why you buy a new refrigerator , AND ITS MAKING ICE in minutes after you plug it in . And they give my daughter , this bull @#$ story and run out the house . After us contact repair again, and $ 300.00 plus dollars we paid to start process . We are told it will be a week , before they come back . So to recap , purchased the largest ice producing unit from Sear at a cost of over $ 1,500.00 , ice maker goes out ( one month out of service contact) so we have to pay extra fee s to get contract back . And if we need ice , I have to go somewhere to buy some , bring home to the freezer !!!!!!! "you know one star was to high a rating " Alan Cook
