The tech did show up on time and worked efficiently to complete the job. Too bad it took 10+ times to actually get him out here. I hate the AI thing, it may case me cancel my subscription.

Service technicians on time, very professional and courteous. The combination of the technician ability to service three appliances opposed to individual technicians. The heat of the range would not checked because the the technician did not have equipment to calibrate. Diferent technician will be here today. Thank you.

Steven P,
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE LAST REPAIR MEETING, OUR APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE WAS MET, THE TECHNICIAN WAS METHODICAL IN ASSESSING THE PROBLEM, ORDERING THE PARTS AND RESCHEDULING THE REPAIR. HE WAS ABLE TO DETECT THE PROBLEM OF THE VENT PIPE COMING LOOSE AND FILLING THE CAVITY WITH LINT AND MOISTURE, CAUSING THE ELECTRONICS TO SHORT-OUT!
John A,
Everything went well. It was easy to make the appointment and the service person's arrival was prompt. I called on a Sunday and "Ulices" was here on Monday. He was very cordial and professional. He listened when I described what the problem was with our Samsung dryer. It didn't take him very long to disassemble the unit and diagnose what the problem was. That indicated to me that he apparently knew what he was doing. Within a short amount of time he had the dryer running like new again. I guess the only thing that keeps me from giving Sears five stars is that I thought at first that it was rather expensive to fix the unit. I was quoted a $79 visit charge plus parts and labor. But I was then told about the one year warranty program. I don't think you guys use warranty to describe this but that's how I see it. It was $193 to cover the dryer fully for one year. I had to decide when I first called whether I wanted the coverage or pay the visit charge plus parts and labor. I decided to get the coverage. I guess there's a certain peace of mind knowing that if anything happens to the dryer within one year it is fully covered. It just feels a little bit like a hard sell. Had I paid for the work without the coverage it would have come out to $163, so $30 more for a year of full coverage isn't so bad. I didn't do any price comparisons or looked for a local repair person who might have done the job for a lesser price. The Sears brand still represents something to an old timer like me. I'm sure it still costs a lot of money to maintain a fleet of repair people to go out on a job and do it right the first time!
