The technician was fine. However the part needed is no longer made. I was still expected to pay for a house call even though the decision not to move forward was mine. Basic rip off

Late with no information
Supposedly there was tracking, and it was obvious that he would be coming after the window, but didn't look like by much. Then it said we were next, but random updates, and 3 hours later, he showed up. He did his review, and told me that the control panel was out, and there was no repair that could be done, we had to get a new dryer. I looked online, and found parts to replace the control board. I understand that Sears doesn't want to use anything but Sears parts, but it is annoying to pay a fee to have Sears tell me it can't be fixed, when it is a simple fix. We found the part online, and will replace it ourselves. I won't be calling Sears Repair Service again.

Technician was good.
The company as a whole I would rate a 1. It took over a month to get service. Originally due to waiting for parts. Communication is horrible. My appointments kept getting rescheduled and I wasn't always notified. I was getting multiple reasons for the delay in getting a technician. One reason was due to parts, next was there was no tech available. I had to complain to get the tech here today because the system said parts were on order still when I already had the parts and they were trying to postpone to next week yet again.

Sears service has gone downhill
Terrible overall experience. Had to wait 10 days after drain pump replacement part was delivered to have it installed. Washing machine is now completely useless as it leaks all over the laundry room floor as soon as the fill cycle starts. Samuel was in such a hurry to leave not all cycles were tested. Now have waited 2 more weeks with multiple cancellations. Must call in a non-Sears service do address issue. Warranty dept and Repair dept just want to pass you back and forth to each other without offer a fix. Truly sad how bad Sears now treats its long-time customers even if you have a maintenance agreement.

Technician broke electronic plastic casing to my dishwasher
Tech was to put another gasket in. Door was not closing due to a new gasket placed the week before. He thought it was a lock issue and proceeded to take the plastic casing off . He did not adequately unscrew the screws and pulled and twisted for the plastic casing to come off which was never any issue to come off when a previous tech removed it. He consequently broke the casing on the sides and where the screws went in. Now the dishwasher is unable to close and cannot be run as the casing cannot go back in place. He said he would try to find another but I doubt it will be found. He then told me he had to leave quickly to get to another appointment and to sign that he was there. I could not read what I was signing it was just a blank screen on his phone. I received a notice from Sears that I signed that it was normal wear and tear and that they are not responsible. This is not only poor workmanship but lying and unethical behavior on the part of the technician and SEARS if they do not take responsibility. Fortunately I have before and after pictures along with the broken pieces. My warranty program First American Home Warranty who contracted Sears also has those pictures and saw the before and after and agreed with me. Now we will see who the ethical company is to take responsibility.

Issue not resolved
I don't want blame one technician. The current issue was dragged for more than 3 months and multiple parts have been ordered and the issues reported haven't fixed. Rather they created new issues and I remain with more problems. It's very bad experience and inconvenience with Sears which I never forget in my lifetime.

Useless non-service
1. We have received no service. 2. The technician (Mr. Hassib) came in way too late-at 4:35 PM His scheduled time frame was 8:00 AM -12:00 noon. He was just looking to go home early. 3. He spent less than 5 minutes at our door, and did not see any part or system of our Air Conditioner. Instead, he was arguing about whether we had one air conditioner or two.

Rejected
Rejected the appointment with this technician as a bad experience last week with him. Refer my earlier feedback. I didn't allow him to enter into the home, but I got email update saying installation completed!!!. I don't know why Sears has been scheduled appointment with the same guy. Reschedule appointment with different technician who is expertise to handle the issue. I would have given negative stars if it allows.
