I had a tremendously negative experience. I waited 3 days for the technician to show. NO CALL NO SHOW FOR 3 DAYS! Thank God for Howard today! He showed up, was friendly, apologetic, professional and efficient. He was great. He made up for the disappointment and frustration for the previous appointments.

Technician was polite and helpful. Just wish he could have stayed to make sure icemaker was producing ice, or, if that would have taken too long, that he would have called later to check up via phone. I still had problems, but thanks to a friend, I managed to resolve them with her. Online help was not valuable.

Great experience once I was able to get a repairman out to service our ice-maker. Needed a whole new one and it was covered under warranty. Good news. Hard part was dealing with two people who kept telling me I was going to be charged for a call and told me to look at various solutions to fix it myself via reading information about my Samsung refrigerator online. Took me one week to call back and then another week to gather the courage to say "I want a repairman in person to come fix the problem." Who hires these guys to talk you out of having a person come to the house? That worked and I am happy now with my refrigerator/freezer unit.

he serviced the washer and dryer, but I was expecting him to replace the lightbulb that had burned out inside the dryer and he did not.

No repairs were effected - parts were ordered for ME to install. Not like it used to be - Sears used to actually DO the repairs and look for other issues which might need addressing. Sad about Sears....

The Ice maker still does not work it is not the fault of the service tech it is a Miserable model are old model worked much better. This model is a 4A62213449 241A. I will look for a new unit next year. I will go back to a Side by side.

Sears technicians came to evaluate why iyr dryer would not start. They determined that a new start knob and a new cycle knob were needed. Parts were sent and when we knew it was just knobs that were coming we cancelled the appointment to have someone come to put the knobs on. The cycle knob fit just fine but the start knob did not fit. My husband had to ream out the hole that the knob was supposed to fit into. While the knob now fits, it still doesn't turn to start the dryer. So that knob is off and I have to turn the switch shaft with my fingers to turn the dryer on.
