Sears Service is a total disaster! Parts Dept told me the thermostat they shipped was a replacement for the original one that was no longer available and when technician arrived he refused to install it because he couldn't verify it was a replacement part. Also,Box it came in had 2 different part #'s on it. This was the second service call since the first technician that came refused to work on it since the model # and serial # were partially worn off even though Sears had the full #'s on my profile. Was very rude and told me to buy a new stove. I have made more than 10 phone calls trying to resolve issue.

Watch out! When they tell you about fees, I was told the $99 “Service Charge” would be “AppliedTo” total charges. Well, it was applied - it was ADDED to charges, not Subtracted from $ owed. In what universe is that what “APPLIED TO” indicates in English ?? Deceptive tactic proves your intent is to rip off your customers. Coming soon to TV station near you !!!!!!!

The technician had to come back a second time to complete repairs. He did not have all the parts on his truck and we had to wait a week for the parts to arrive and then an additional week for the service person to come back. Very frustrating to say the least.

UPDATE!!!! I emailed again for the 3rd time as they requested below and still no response!!! SCAM ALERT!!!! Our dryer wouldn't turn off so I called Sears Appliance Repair, they said it was a $99 service fee charge plus parts. I knew the timer was the problem. They said the repair guy could be there the next day. I was very busy with work and needed to take time off for this repair. The next he showed up early and called me, I was on a job and left it to meet him at my house. I got there in 5 mins. I let him in and I told him I needed to go back to work as soon as possible so I waited right there and watched him work. It took him 2 mins to unscrew the top and the timer and he said "its the timer". He went to to his van and came back within 2 mins. The whole repair was less than 15 mins. I told him I needed to get back to work. He said the total is $393.90 I almost fell down. I said you have to be kidding me!! He said no that's the charge. I was in such a hurry I gave him my credit card and he gave me the receipt. I was fuming!!! He charged $156.34 plus $12.12 tax for the timer (It's $59 on Amazon), $225.44 for labor, Really, for 3 mins???? Now for the next nightmare, I called to complain, they give you the runaround with press this for that BS. Never could talk to a human. I called 3 times, left messages and nothing happened and no call back. Went online and sent 2 emails no response at all. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SERVICE!!! Call Central Appliance Service, they are honest and professional!

Worst customer service ever. You can't get anywhere with them over the phone. Tech came to my house diagnosed the problem and said if I call back within 30 days they will order the parts and come fix it. I called back 10 days later to schedule the repair and they gave me the run around for over 1 month insisting to come back to the house, re-do the diagnostic visit and re-charge for another visit. Passed me on from one technician to the other, everyone claims they don't know the others I spoke to. If you call the customer service phone number they are clueless and won't help you at all, all they care about is setup an another appointment and charge another $109 diagnostic fee. Horrible experience. Will never use them again. Will find somebody else to fix my appliance. This was $109 paid for charity!! Customer be ware, do not use this service. Find a local business instead.

Repairman was very nice, but did not fix the problem. Tried in vain to get the repairman back. Was told system down 2 weeks and unable to set a appointment. Had mold in the inside of the drum of the washer. After 3 days of not getting a appointment , I went to another store and bought a washer. I'm done with Sears.

Worst company I have ever encountered. Tech never arrived but reported that he did - twice. All the company did was continue to schedule another appointment. I kept calling the company for resolution and was consistently lied to. Asked to speak to a manager and told I would receive a call back. Was never called and subsequently realized they had no intention of ever returning a call. This went on for weeks until my service warranty expired.
