The repairman JC was not helpful. Took one look at the electric oven and, without touching it, told me I needed to replace a $75 part, that would be over $300 in labor! Said it was based on his "experience". He then proceeded to overcharge me $129 instead of $104 per my confirmation email from Sears.. . AND THEN I get a receipt where he FORGE MY NAME and electronically signed showing my alleged "acceptance" of the improper charges. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SEARS REPAIRMEN.

The technicians assigned to my job were all very nice and helpful. However, Sears twice assigned technicians who had never worked on the brand of my washer/dryer, Electrolux. I was left without a dryer after visit number two because the technician failed to turn on the gas line so there was no heat for drying. Finally, they assigned a technician for visit number three who was familiar with Electrolux. He had only been assigned my appointment thirty minutes before the scheduled time. Sears sent me texts to reschedule appointments, which I confirmed back by text, then sent me emails and texts to confirm the original appointment. The company is totally incompetent. Appointment scheduling is a complete mess. There is no customer service contact number therefore it is impossible to get appointment clarification. I feel sorry for their technicians who clearly have to suffer the client’s frustration at Sears’ incompetence. I would NEVER deal with Sears again!!

I have had the Sears Warrenty and now protection plan for years and have fair to good service. I currently have a service order active to fix my washing machine that has not been resolved in 12 days so far. The service people that answer the phone try their best but they honestly can not help when there is a real problem. I do not like that I am talking to a service person that has a thick accent and when they are talking to me there is a lot of noise in the background. My washer was originally serviced in 6/25/25 and the technicion ordered the part and scheduled himself to come back on Monday 6/28/25. Richard AI cancelled the appoinment and has me rescheduled at least 3-5 or maybe even more times due to the part not being delivered to my house. I have called the service number several times and I guess now, they say my issue will be brought to the management team and I should get a response on Monday 7/14/25. I have been to the laundramat 3 times over the past 2 weeks and spent approximately $160. I have also taken off work to be home when my appoinment is made to fix my washer and the part never gets delivered and the appt gets cancelled by Richard AI the same day the service technician is scheduled to come. So no I have lost thousands of dollars missing work. When I track the part with Fed Ex. It is still in Fresno, CA. since 6/25/2025. Hopefully this problem gets resolved soon. This has been very frustrating and I am planning on cancelling my protection plan once my washer gets fixed or replaced. The service has really declined. I like how you can take my monthly service fee from my account and there is no sense of urgency, no customer service number with someone who can really help!

Poor technician couldn’t do a thing. Showed up no parts despite assurances they were delivered. Can’t talk to anyone at his company because they are all bots. This is probably the worse company that I have ever worked with. Poor service. No communication and completely unreliable. Stay far away from Sears Home Services and AEFactory Services. Unbelievably bad.

We needed our refrigerator serviced. Tech was friendly and experienced. He removed the freezer floor and steam-cleaned the defrost drain. Work was satisfactory, but I feel the $410 charge for one hour of labor (& no parts) was extremely high. [Regarding the "Response from the owner" below: I did try contacting Sears Home Services to assist me further. I tried both the website (chat function) and the phone number that was provided...and be warned, it's 100% AI...there are no live operators. When I finally found a "back door" online, it was an overseas representative who could barely speak English. But I did understand it clearly when he said the charge was correct and there would be no adjustment. This last bit of nonsense reaffirms my low rating. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The schedule time of 8:00-12:00. Then they tell me that the technician is on his way be there @8:45 no update at 12::00 I called sears after many calls and being handed up on from a supervisor. It’s now 1:00 Iam told the dispatcher will call me in an hour. No call, the technician shows up at 2:00 6 hours past the promised time.sears customer service does nothing and they told they can’t do anything. Not a good experience. I will never use them again

This has been a very Long and Lengthy process of 4 months to fix my Dishwasher with 6 different Technicians and appointments attempting to make the repairs with many many Parts Orders that came to my house that the Technicians are now saying they do not need?? This Sears "Home Protect Home Warranty" Plan #512903199 that I pay for monthly states that they will "Fix or Replace" So with all of these appointments (6+) and many parts I have my own estimate that has cost Sears close to $3000 ? I just can't understand that Sear keeps attempting to try and fix this dishwasher? When this $750 dishwasher that I'm sure that Sears can get Wholesale for $400 would just not Replace it and save Sears $2600 and I would have my problem fix in a month.. not 4 months.. Just like this Protection Plan that I purchased says "Fix or Replace.. This Dishwasher should have been REPLACED months ago.. Sears you need to get your act together and save yourself some money and make it easy for me to say to friends and family go get yourself this Protection Plan..It's the best (NOT) Have you ever heard of "Word of Mouth" I'm very very disappointed and frustrated in the way Sears has handled this repair..
