Very disappointed with Sears. The tech who was supposed to service our AC unit didn’t even show up and forged our signature of completed work.

Horrible experience. Technician came to my 88 year old mom's home, said he needed to order the part, took her check and the part never came. Cancelled the order and she still hasn't recieved a refund. You can't even speak to a live person about it. My advice is stay away from this service.

Technician Frank came to change two parts on my washer. He was upset since the beginning of his visit making it clear that changing both parts was a waste of time. Later, the second item that needed to be replaced he made it VERY known he did not want to replace it because it was difficult to change by himself. When we told him the tech said it was necessary he stormed to his car really upset. Overall, he made the repair very uncomfortable and hostile for us as customers.

The maintenance technician Chris was very nice and I am sure he at least sprayed the dust away from the rooftop compressor unit with a water hose. He said he checked the fuses and electric systems on the unit and said all checked out within operating ratings. The problem is, the maintenance tech said his work order said rooftop air conditioning maintenance. I did not request any a/c work, but when I was showing him the forced air unit closet, where the A/C chiller is located, he said he only was told to do the work on the rooftop compressor. I was expecting the semi-annual entire HVAC system “tune-up”. The tech told me HVAC system needs work on the ductwork and airflow.

There is absolutely no way this company has a true 4.6 rating. They are scam artists. I had their tech come to fix my dryer. Turned out I needed to order a new part. No problem. The tech told me if this part did not fix my issue I would be able to return it. This was an absolute lie. Jut a way for the tech to make more money. Of course, the dryer had more issues and the only option they gave me was to buy another part which would put the cost of repair more than what a new same model dryer would cost. I told them I wanted to return the part. I was rudely refused. I tired calling and calling and calling and it's near impossible to get anyone on the phone. There entire phone service is automated and set up in such a way so as not to allow you to actually speak with someone. Even worse, when I had a tech at my house, he was speaking with the manager about the refund. The manager denied my request even though the tech literally told me this refund was possible. I asked to speak with the manager because I was lied to. The manager would not even speak to me because, apparently, this joke of a company has a policy that the manager will never speak with a client. So, I can't get anyone on the phone and the manager would not even speak with me. My dryer was not fixed and the only option they gave me was to spend more money than a new machine would cost me.

No one showed up in spite of the fact that I confirmed my appointment and I got a text that my technician was on the way. This is the 2nd time this week someone from Sears Home Warranty has not shown up to a confirmed job. This particular job was not just from the Sears home warrants service, but also was supposed to be an actual Sears technician to repair my air conditioning. This happened last year too by the way where I had a no show through Sears 2 times. Earlier this week through Sears home warranty I was supposed to have a plumber come & no one showed up also. This is getting really annoying. It does not seem that Sears hime warranty values its customers. This is so stupid.

Today I was suppose to have both Maytag Washer and Elite Refrigerator checked. Bruce arrived and my husband mentioned to him he was going to service both items, He then told my husband he was only servicing the washer and someone else would be coming for fridge. He then checked the washer and left. About an hour later I checked my computer and you believe Bruce wrote he had already serviced my fridge!!! I was both angry and disappointed in Sears and called immediately.
