I did not get the impression that the repairman was enjoying his job. I have no idea if he is the same one from the day before that had not been told to come to my home for an 8-12 appointment till noon. That was absurd! I had a 2 pm meeting and he could not come till 2 or 2:30pm. Bad business! So , today’s repairman was able to discern in less than 5 min that my washer needed 3 parts and 2 were in stock but the other is not available anymore unless I want to seek it out on EBay. Huh 🤔? I am paying a monthly fee for new service then I am paying him $64 for just coming here. What? I agreed to $50 service fee for the dryer but now told I have to just buy a new washer. When I purchased this Elite 700 series Kenmore in 2015 it was expensive and every year I maintenance it like clockwork. No! I just do not believe it yet. The repairman did not spend but 5 min servicing that dryer. Somehow I feel cheated. What a slick maneuver. I am not sure I totally blame him when he is probably trained that way and trying to keep his job. There should be something more in him though not to do business that way. He told me he would s nd the receipt to my email. He left and I went to look for the receipt and all I could find was a blurb saying service charges and confirmation but no notes. I promptly called Sears and filed Complaint and told them I want the written notes that tell me what is wrong with the washer. I am supposed to get a call back. Let’s see if Sears can follow through. Shame on Sears but shame on the repairman. If I didn’t know better I would think Sears slightly defrauding the customer ; by that , I mean they do just enough to sell their actions as legitimate. I smell a rat! Are you trying to go out of business?

Came in inspected and told son in law they were ordering waterheater and someone would be in contact. It has been 2 weeks haven't heard anything and can't speak to anyone always get automated systems

The Technician who came was the same one who broke it on 7/31/24. He left me without service for 21 days without cooler. He noticed I lost all the food in the fridge and saying the service would restore in 24 hours. It was very annoying the whole process. He left the area he worked a mess and dirty. He asked for tools which he is supposed to have.I never give rating/review to a Technician but this was an exception.

They still charge full price when it was a tripped breaker and only there for 15 minutes even though he came after the 8-12 appointment window.

The technicians are good. Sears, once a quality company, is now the worst possible company I can think of. Completely lacking in any sort of customer service, Sears couldn’t possibly care less about you. I suspect they treat the employees like garbage, too. RUN, don’t walk away.

Technician changed the part that was not problem. He change the part but the problem still exists and charge me $565. What a joke.
