The gentleman actually took everything out of the refrigerator and defrosted it to determine what the cause was. He also left his phone number in case I have any additional problems

Technician arrived as scheduled was, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the problem with my top load washer could not be fixed. The machine is older, and they do not have or no longer make the parts needed to repair my Maytag washing machine. The Tech Emmanuel explained that since the machine could not be repaired, a Sears warranty representative would be in touch within 10 business days, with alternative warranty options or credit towards a new machine. I'm hoping for the option 2, but I will patiently wait to see if someone contacts me within the timeframe I was provided and go from there. If not, I will follow-up myself to see what can be worked out.

Your service techs are great. One item I question: Needed part arrived here on 4/28. We notified your dispatcher same day. . Email reply said tech would be here 5/7 and he was. Seems like a 10 day wait for tech is excessive. Catching up on laundry now. Carleton Cronin

Well, they do not carry parts for your old appliances even if they have been well kept and look like new. Save your money on calling them out or purchasing their coverage if you have 10-year-old plus appliances. I would check to see if they have the parts first before buying a contract.. The repairman appeared confident and professional and groomed appropriately. .

Gave us and our hour window. Showed up two hours after that. Technician worked on stove top burners and didn’t plug back in. Said it was too hard and I would have to do it. Paid $160 for that. Hmmmmm
