I would not recommend Sears appliance service to my worst enemy. Sears has been trying to fix my Samsung refrigerator for over 2 years. I requested a refrigerator replacement after a year and a half of problems per the contact and Sears refused. They replaced the same parts many times and over time the problems changed; ice maker not working, then refrigerator box too cold, then refrigerator box too warm, finally after replacing the compressor nothing worked. The refrigerator got warm, everything in the freezer was soft, and the ice maker did not work at all. I am done with Sears service so 2 days later (and $3,800 later) I have a new refrigerator. Don't trust the Sears technicians and the statement in their service contract that they will replaced an appliance if they can't fix it is a lie.

The technician that came on 7/14 did not call first to ask about the problem. This meant we had to wait another week for a very simple repair. He also told us he was giving us a special deal, when in fact, this was standard pricing on the website. Finally, he made an appointment with us (not via the website) to return the following week (on 6/20). He didn’t show up. The piece we needed for the repair came to our home and we fixed the machine ourselves.

The serviceman was on time and finished within the hour. The 12/27/23 appointment was the 4th for the same problem: water leaking into the fresh food section of the refrigerator. He took the freezer apart, adjusted the evaporator and used steam to remove ice from the water line. Unfortunately, the problem remains. The refrigerator and service contract were purchased 7/26/19. I request a replacement refrigerator.

I call because I had a washing machine that had a small leak. After they serviced my machine won't even come on. To make matters worse they won't even respond to my emails regarding the damage the caused or my refund.

11/14/23 The Sears representative Juan was rude, impolite and discourteous. After showing Juan the walkway to my unit which was a few feet away, rather than walking on the public walkway as I asked he chose to take a totally different path through bushes on another owner's private property, lawn and front porch. Very rude, very unprofessional, violated and walked on the private property when it was not necessary and I asked him not to more than once. Because of his behavior he was not able to view my stove so no service was received. This type of behavior should not be tolerated as a representative of Sears. Bad knees is no excuse for bad manners.
