The tech was excellent. And on the Sears invoice part is $115 for the pilot light assembly when just yesterday over the phone I was quoted $79 (knowing this is likely the required part). They would not quote an hourly rate for labor. Labor on the invoice is $204. An additional $50 item for vacuuming inside, yes it needed it, but for $50! Took right at one hour to complete the repair. Sears is way too expensive. Google says a thermocouple replacement should be $150 to $200. Sears home tech repair for my hot water heater was $381. I'll call someone else next time. Should I need a new water heater the Tech said that would be about $3,000. I'll shop around before calling Sears again.
