The failed to have a technician arrive within the agreed 4 hour window - on 2 different days ! No respect for my time taken away from the office. The technician was not knowledgeable in any way about my appliance. Offered no insight on the repair - just quoted me a price of $1000. Seems like a racket to me. I refused to pay the fee after they wasted almost 9 hours of my time.

Our GE Profile refrigerator started having issues with the cooling on 11/8/25. We pulled it out from the wall and cleaned all the dust from around the intake on the back of the unit. It didn't seem to help. I contacted First American Warranty on 11/09 and someone from Sears was there on 11/10. Since then, someone from Sears Home Services, the company that First American contracted with has been there three more times. The original problem still exists. Since our tenants have an infant, we decided to buy a new frig, since it's been three weeks and still not fixed.

They haven't fixed the refrigerator after 5 separate appointments! They replaced the thermostat, the control board, and the ice maker (with us having to wait a week between appointments for each attempted repair). It's now been almost 6 weeks since it stopped working, and I'm very upset!

Did not meet. Both companies gave wrong phone number. I called both companies and gave my cell as point of contact and now I can't schedule an appointment to fit my schedule. Tech was told call 5pm and return back to my property considering he, the tech, was 10 blocks away. This happening 6/20/2025 and as of Sunday, 6/22/2025 no one has called me for the 8am 6/22/2025 that I requested

Patrick our technician deserves 5 stars. Efficient and got the job done no fuss. The actual company get Zero stars. An absolutely HORRIFIC experience. The entire process was not clear, and we were rescheduled 10 times. We were out a washer for a month and had to spend money at the laundry mat. To be rescheduled 10 times is unacceptable by any standards. The approach they should take is send a tech out to assess the problem, order parts, await til said parts are available, then make a second appointment. Easy. Do Not have the customer explain what they think the symptoms are and have a tech thru text messages, guess the diagnosis! and based on that guess order parts and make an appointment. Makes NO sense. The only reason I stuck thru with them is because They are the company my home insurance uses. If you have a choice, Do NOT use this company. I will also switch home insurance companies just so I don't have to deal with Sears Appliance Repair again!

Horrible. I waited last Tuesday 8-5pm. My appointment was between 8am-12pm. NO phone call to say running late and or not coming. Today the technician called at 12:01pm saying he would be here after 1pm. Not acceptable. I swapped shifts today to be able to be here. I have work at 2pm. I only gave one star because that was the only way I could post.

The washing machine hose needs to be flushed or replaced. He claimed we need to get a plumber to do that. The hose is part of the machine!
