Tired of Sears Home Services
My dryer is not completely drying clothes in the Normal cycle. Tech said there is no problem with the dryer because it is warming to proper temp.I asked him to check the Moisture Sensor but he refused and kept telling me there is nothing wrong. This is the second appt. Last week I waited all week and the tech was a NO SHOW. This week he tells me there is nothing wrong. I am tired of being treated like this. My dryer still doesn't dry the clothes.

Xer Repair
Xer our repair technician was was fantastic. He replied to every text and phone call that day. He gave me the estimated time of arrival and was always at my home within that window. Could not have had a more knowledgeable person working on our washing machine. Test guy ever!

Poor communication
The gentleman was very nice, but couldn't repair my oven due to it not having a serial number available. This information could've been more useful before he showed up to save me from having to take time off of work for nothing.

Polite/no repair resolution
We have had the Master Protection Warranty and Sears products for years. Our highly rated Kenmore Elite refrigerator has been great, however, this was the first time requiring repair & 11 mos. later issues are still not resolved. 3 different techs, all polite. 1st tech &trainee replaced a part that restored cooling but 2nd tech said first tech & trainee failed the keep wires from touching each other which created a secondary issue. Second tech's "repair " didn't resolve the issue. Third tech came out & said problem was inside of fridge but did nothing further to check the interior, fans, etc. Tech's comments "No issue found" are bewildering since videos were presented that clearly substantiated the ongoing, accelerating, and unresolved problem. Hameed was very polite and personable. The first two techs/trainees were also polite, however, the repairs from Sears Repair Service are still incomplete. Under these circumstances I cannot recommend "Gary's" company. If a more knowledgeable/accomplished tech addresses and resolves the issue, I will gladly update this in a positive way. In the meantime, Gary, you try being awakened at 4 am by a malfunctioning refrigerator over and over again! Don't bother with the automated "Facebook" response. A professional business has the customer's phone number in their records. YOU try calling. Also, why are customers being told to sign blank device pages? One can't see what that covers and verbal explanations are incomplete, Only after the appointment is "paperwork " accessible online and not always accurate. Thank you for addressing this. It will determine any future business with your repair service (with or without the warranty).

Lies
To began with the original tech did not replace the part & then the washing machine broke again and you reordered a new part same part as before and said the old part was normal wear and tear, then told me it would be covered, then your tech showed up today and demanded payment cause the home warranty hasn't paid you for the prior repair that wasn't even done. This is not the last of this I didn't pay and going to turn Sears in to the better business dept and then some.

repairs on LG side by side refrigerator were not completed.
The light showing refrigerator temperature was to have been fixed, but still does not show the temperature nor the dispenser light. Ice builds up to 3 inches below the cube tray and drops pieces of ice through the shelves and products stored there. The lights were on while he was here, but are off this morning.

Not thorough
Technician replaced the rubber boot on my washer. He had to remove the faceplate to do so. Apparently he did not replace it properly as I am now unable to use one of the buttons on the options board. I think he should have checked that everything was working properly before he left. Will need to schedule another service and take more time off work.

Failed Repair - GE Cafe Microwave
Mathew came out and discovered one of the capacitor wires was burned and frayed, not conducting. Mathew retrieved new parts and put it together. The control panel and inside lights lit up so we thought all was good and he had me sign his pad. Within minutes after he left I did the coffee mug water test, it did not heat up. I called Mathew and he came back and took it apart again. Two connectors to what looked like the transformer were not connected. He connected them and the turned on the microwave and heard a loud pop. He tried heating the coffee mug and it did not heat. He then tried to trouble shoot it and now nothing works. Nothing will turn on and the control panel will not light up. I originally requested a GE tech but could not get one. In addition, it was put together quickly and screws are not in their exact location they came out of. Lots of time spent with a terrible result. I need this microwave fixed ASAP or replaced with a new one.

Sears repair
Sears is very unprofessional the technician did not show up for two appointments and did not have the courtesy to call and let us know he needed to reschedule. My tenant called off work and lost money. This has happened to me as a costumer of Sears a couple of times. They are very unprofessional. If it wasn't for my warranty company I would have never used them. I don't even purchase appliances from Sears anymore because of how unprofessional they are.
