Dishwasher Diagnostic
Mohammad was very nice and helpful concerning maintenance tips about my appliances. For diagnosing my dishwasher error code, he was able to clear the code and was able to start the dishwasher. He said everything seemed to be working, but didn't run any type of diagnostic. He informed me that he couldn't stay for the duration of the dishwasher cycle, which is about 90 minutes, to see if anything was wrong. He said if the code came back after the dishwasher cycle was done, then I would have to call Sears back and pay for another diagnostic fee. Again, Mohammad was nice, but it was a waste of money to pay for a service that didn't occur.

I regret giving this review because Matthew was nice and professional and worked hard. However, he needed to borrow tools to complete the job. The pump he installed initially leaked excessively. He was not equipped to manage the excessive water leak. He did not align and level the unit upon re-install and needed to correct it. He did not install the front bottom bracket correctly and was about to leave without taking all his tools and parts and I needed to run out and provide them to him. It appears he was hurrying to the next job. At this time It's too wet underneath the unit to verify there are no leaks so I will leave the bottom bracket off until I can verify it is water tight after it dries. I will then install the bottom bracket myself if it proves to be water tight. I am not very satisfied with the level of quality.

Unhappy
Hard to understand, my daughter was made to pay for service to fix problem that was covered by my warranty payment.

Bosch Microwave/Oven wall unit
Microwave was the problem. When tech left microwave had power. My wife tried and said door wont open completely. I later tried and door was too tight, hitting cabinet. I then realized that the door was bent and doesn't seal anymore- new problem. Then I realized the clock was not working anymore and Microwave was dead again. Didn't even get to try it. We had 3 different tech on 4 visits ( 5 visits if you count a no show), 3 shipments of parts. This is the 2nd of this Bosch product- first had Microwave problem and unit replaced at no cost. First unit handled through Best Buy-Geek Squad. This unit is 3 years old. I'm done with Bosch and unit will be replaced at my cost. Don't bother trying to fix. I'm disappointed. Unit should have been fixable, but now has a physical problem with obvious unsealing/bent door as well as dead Microwave!

Dishwasher repair
Need to make sure to leave the appliance in the same state as before. Dish washer had missing screws, mis aligned position so that Means have to call tech back

Work on washer and dryer
Confused, explanation does not make sense. It does not make sense tha a load of underwear should take an hour and forty five minutes to dry and a load of jeans forty five minutes. You would think that the jeans might take a little longer than the underwear. I really did not understand any thing that he said.

I really liked Mathew and he tried his hardest to determine problem the 2nd time out (3 visits total). He used something sharp to pry off cover to dispenser and scratched off paint down to metal. I would appreciated someone coming out with touch up paint to fix problem. I feel bad leaving this comment, but did tip him for his time. Thx Debbie

Dishwasher disaster
Matthew was very pleasant but dropped the dishwasher door twice on our stone floor. Then he dented the aluminum door panel when trying to reinstall it. He said he ordered a new door but it's not in stock so "Sears will search for a new door". The dishwasher is now set deep in the cabinet and the spring that supports the door when you open the washer is missing. Matthew said we can use the dishwasher but run it during the day in case it leaks. And today it leaked a LOT of water. We are not happy with Sears repair service.

Keith seems to be a good technician
Chris Glover and Ricardo Espain require their service technicians to have customers sign a damage waiver, explaining that in the course of the repair they might cause damage to cabinets, floors, etc. and refuse to be responsible for that damage. If the customer does not sign the waiver, the technician refuses to order parts or perform any repairs to the appliance. The Protection Agreement on my appliances says nothing about the waiver requirement. As a California Licensed Contractor, Sears is Bonded and Insured for such damages. I believe this is an illegal practice and will file a complaint with DCA and CSLB.
