The Sears technician to do the yearly maintenance on my Maytag Washer and Dryer was scheduled to be here between 8 AM and Noon on Wednesday November 26, 2025. Luis arrived about 1:30 PM. He went into the laundry room and shut the door, the room in very small and there is no way he could have opened either unit up and clean or checked the interior of either unit. Technicians in the past have left the door open so they could put parts of the units in the kitchen so they could actually work on the units. Soon after closing the door I heard him place a personal phone call which lasted a minimum of 20 minutes. When he came out and said he was done, I went in and checked the dryer which had several threads stuck in the cover for the lint trap, they were still there. I showed them to Luis and he removed them, by taking off the cover of the lint trap, which past technicians have done to do a complete maintenance. He didn’t use the vacuum to clean out the lint trap. Not sure if he did anything with the washer other than run it through the rinse/drain cycle. He did run the dryer. Very disappointed in the service this technician provided. RATE LUIS 1 STAR

Unfortunately Jonathan didn't complete the job correctly. When he supposedly finished the job there was a horrible loud humming sound when the ac was running. I informed him that it was very loud and that something was wrong. He said that I should call for someone else to check on it. In addition, he did not want to take the old motor with him. He thought that it was okay to leave it in a box on my bathroom floor. He eventually took it with him. I feel that Jonathan can benefit from extra training. I don't think he has been equipped perform his job properly.

Your website is not user friendly. One should be able to ask detailed questions about equipment repair needs. Your chat section is poor, one is not free to provide detailed information. If I could find someone to come to my house to repair garden tractors and other such equipment I would use them.
