The human repair person, GERARDO B was outstanding! He deserves more than 5 stars. However getting any help or information from Sears Home Warranty is beyond frustration. The system is 100 percent AI with no concern for customer interaction, basic help or information about repairs with its built in blocking of customer contact with human customer service. Sears could not care less about customer service! AI phone loops are NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, After four plus years paying nearly $50 a month for up to ten appliances, when needed, Sears Home Warranty Protection has been close to non existent. Dishwasher repair started about 2/18/26 by ordering parts. The parts arrived within a week. The dishwasher was repaired three weeks later on 3/18/26 due to multiple rescheduling by Sears AI. Still waiting over a month for a fridge repair and stove replacement due to AI rescheduling. MINUS 1,000 STARS for Sears Home Warranty service ! ! ! ! ! Or is it Sears Home Warranty Disservice?

Our technician, William, was very polite and knowledgeable about the repair. He kept me well informed throughout the entire process. He was also well organized and kept the area he worked on clean.

The technician walked in, asked a couple of questions, listened to my answers, looked in the washer carefully, and saw a coin wedged deep in the agitator drum. He extracted the coin, then restarted the machine to complete the cycle. Fixed! Experience matters, though listening and examining the drum to confirm was also important. He ran the machine thru the rest of the cycle, just to validate. Thank you!!!
