Used Sears Home Services about 5 years ago and was pleased; now terrible customer service; all AI generated appointments with repeated mistakes: lost appointment, rescheduled with hours spent waiting for repair person (never showed), next appointment now weeks away. Impossible to talk to a real person. See reddit for similar experiences. I will look elsewhere for human help

The Service Tech, Nathan was amazing. He deserves 5 stars. The experience with Sears was dismal. Everything is AI and they make it impossibe to speak with a live person. This took 4 weeks to get this repair done - in my area, they only repair on Tuesdays (Patagonia, AZ). They cancelled the appointment on week 3 and moved it to week 4 so I was without an oven this entire time. If it wasn't for them handling the extended warranty repair on my kitchen appliances, I wouldn't ever use them for anything. Terrible support for the service techs and the customer.

Dennis was fine. He did show up unlike Nathan that was scheduled on July 22nd and cancelled at 4:52 pm. However my washer still isn't fixed as Dennis did not have the rods he needed in order to fix it. I am not happy or pleased as I have had to now take 3 days off work and I should have only had to take 1. I am hoping on August 1st someone shows up. Dennis came and put in the new parts but it didn't fix my dryer. The drum is still loose and still hitting my appliances and wall when spinning. It is very noisy and did not fix the issue.

I had a disappointing experience with Sears Appliance Repair. They scheduled a visit to fix my dryer, providing a time frame from 8am to 5pm. I had to take a day off from work because they couldn't offer a more specific appointment time. When then technician showed up and performed a brief inspection, he informed me that I needed a belt, which he replaced promptly. He tested my dryer for a few minutes and claimed the issue was resolved. However, as he was leaving, it became clear during the test run that the problem persisted. The technician was still on my property, and I informed him that the issue remained. He told me that he had closed the work order, so there was nothing more he could do and suggested I reschedule for a follow-up appointment. The dryer is still broken, leaving me without appliances and without any updates. When I called customer service, they were unhelpful. I took a day off from work to get this item repaired and they were unwilling to help. I would not recommend this company for dryer repairs. *Update* I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I have received. Unfortunately, there seems to be no option for speaking with a live representative, as everything is automated. This makes it extremely difficult to address any concerns or complaints. Additionally, I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for next month, which has now been canceled by the technician. This situation is quite frustrating and disappointing.
