Closed order—not fixed
I was told sears and my warranty would be contacting me in regards to the part not available at all and getting the washer fixed. Weeks later and nothing at all. Warranty told me that sears would be calling in regards to the part. Nothing. Now I have to call more and try to figure out to fix the problem at hand

Appliance worse
The repairman show up and worked hard but was totally unfamiliar with the ice maker . He ordered parts that he was unable to install and left yesterday with the ice maker leaking more and not making ice. I'm sure he was very frustrated but should have not attempted this job as he was not qualified. He should have declined the job.

This is the second time sears accepted a claim from first American to repair an appliance for me . I wait 2 weeks only to have sears say they don't work on my brand. you accepted the claim but later say no. so unacceptable. worst ever

How many times should it take to get it right?
We originally requested service over 2 months ago. It took 6 trips to the house to fix the problem. Communication was horrible. We had to set aside 7 Wednesdays because the service window was 8-5pm. In addition, the first service appointment was cancelled by Sears at 4:15pm. There was no consideration for us having to take off work etc. This was the mist ridiculous and awful experience.

Horrible service
He canceled twice. He came out three times. He was unprepared. He was not able to fix the refrigerator and refused to let the warranty company know that he could not fix it. I was out a refrigerator for 6 weeks. Ridiculous.

Never returned my call. Couldnt reach him for an update. And he did nothing. Waste of time for a crappy product. Im returning the unit as defective

Doesn't even deserve a star
John was just fine and would deserve 3.5 stars however scheduling and the repeated robot attempts to collect information were horrible. It took nearly three weeks to get my washer fixed and it was impossible to get a human, I tried several times. I received a service "window" of 9-5, only to find out John was overbooked and wouldn't arrive until after 5. After asking some additional questions via text, he was able to determine which part needed to be ordered which then took another week to come in, delay the repair further. Had a been able to talk with a human beforehand. We could've figured this out and ordered the part from the start. We only remained with Sears because my warranty would have made me pay another deductible for another company to come out. Unless you can bring a better customer service option, I would NEVER recommend Sears Home Repair.
