Changing rating - didnt tighten valve correctly

Overall rating

So John didnt tighten my valve correctly so the next day I had to call out another service technician to "tighten" the valve which cost me an additional $129. No guarantee I will get reimbursed

While the tech isn't really to blame the whole appointment scheduling process is JUST A NIGHTMARE! We started with our 1st appt in July Each subsequent appointment took at least 2 weeks to get scheduled and then the same 8 am- 5pm window of waiting. No way to speak withan actual live person to explain the urgency and repetitive problem. It took until Oct 21st to finally fix the problem. This 4 month process also included a no show by the tech due to over scheduling. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND this service.

John was five stars. This review does not apply to him at all. I have no problems with his work. HOWEVER, I have LOTS of problems with Sears Home Service. You do not have any way to communicate with a real person. I really needed to talk to someone to explain the problem but more importantly how to access the house. I tired both text and by phone but all I got was a computer. It was of no help whatsoever. It is crazy that you do not provide any human interaction. I would not recommend Sears to anyone and would actively advise against using you until you allow some method of talking to a real person.

Unqualified Service Technician

We requested a service appointment on line on which you are required to list the brand and type of appliance that needs repair. The service technician that was sent out had never worked on the Thor brand refrigerator that we have, even though that brand was listed on their drop down menu choices, and said he was unable to get parts for that brand. Yet, still charged us the $129 diagnostic fee!!

Not his Fault!!

Today is the 4th or 5th repair on my freezer. I have N O ice in my freezer!! I think it's time for You to replace my Refrigerator per my Repair agreement I have kept with You for MANY years!!
