I have the Sears Home Warantee and have a Dryer problem reported. Serviceman came out said motor was bad and replace it, still Dryer would not heat. Called again and another serviceman came out and said timer was bad and ordered it..Week later, today, serviceman came out installed the timer and Dryer would heat, but, the timer would not time out, but just kept running and heating. After and hour of running I went out and the timer was still setting on 40 minutes where it was initially set. Just to be sure, I left it on the 40minute time and loaded it again. I left to go to the store and when I came back it was still running and still on the 40 minute time..this was approximately 2 hours later. But because we need to dry another load that was in the washer, I put them in and started it again, still set on the 40 minutes and it ran another hour and timer still on same time. Now, I know that the service was not done correctly and if we were to load the Dryer and leave for the day it would run till we got back becoming a potiential fire hazard. Now I have not reported this yet because I just cleared the dryer and havent had the time to report a recall of the repair. This is not a good review for the service that should have been completed and satisfied, but one will be made immediately.

Thirty days ago I scheduled and received a repair to my range. The repair has failed and I am unable to contact a live person to speak with which is extremely frustrating. I have literally thrown away almost $600 in repairs because I cannot contact someone to discuss this with. The computer simply does not understand, nor can it help me. I will not be using Sears Appliance Repair again.

John did a great job servicing our problem he was courteous and very knowledgeable! Sears scheduling the repair was a different story: WE WERE ONE DAY SHY IF TWO WEEKS getting the repair done! It was our refrigerator - 2 weeks! WE NOW HAVE A REFRIGERATOR THAT DOES NOT FUNCTION. This after the repair was completed! We have been unable to talk with anyone at SEARS, no live customer service people we are told!! We are today beginning our THIRD WEEK without our refrigeratorš We are now scheduled for a Virtual Appointment on Monday, April 13th, NO SERVICEMAN SCHEDULED, just a phone call!!!!! WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR REFRIGERATOR BEING REPAIRED????

I have had sears repair at my house for my microwave and other repairs and never had a problem untile today.The tech walk in my house saw i have pets and acted like he was going to be sick I talked to him out side and he blamed he could smell my animals. I have cats a litter box and four dogs that do there business outside I also for safe measures at night lay down dog pads in case my animals have an accident my kids threw the dirty pads in the trash and the tech saw it and started to act like he was going to throw up. He did not even look at the unit. Was in the house for only 30 seconds. 20 minutes later got an email saying my unit is un repairable. He lied to his company. If I could rate his pro formatted I would give him a negative 5 stars. Hope I never get him at my home again.

The repair guy bent the back cover of the dish washer door....this was pointed out to him but he left without trying to repair.....just pointed out that it needed 10 screws to remove panel and left.....issue was electrical so he diagnosed it and gave us the bill.

The final technician, John provided excellent customer service, but ultimately the experience was one that I will NEVER again put myself or my family through again. Seven of the nine appointments was an appalling and insulting farce. Sears technicians are poorly trained and have desperately little in the way of integrity. I sat home all day for seven of the appointments only to be told that either they were not going to show because of a scheduling problem on their end or that I had not been home for them to complete the service. Total blatant lies. I have on my security camera recordings such things as one person slowly driving by my house and reversing back down the street. Other times, no one showed at all. All documented by time-stamped video recordings. When I tried to make SEARS aware of this, I ran into the dreaded AI phone system that refuses to connect me with a live person. All-in-all, I will NEVER recommend SEARS repair services to anyone, nor will I use them for anything. American HomeShield is getting terminated as well. I've been paying premiums of $159 for upwards of 12 years and it took nearly 3 months for them to finally botch the repairs. I should have just bought a new refrigerator in the first place. For all the consumers that see this, Stay away from Sears and their crappy home services. Their incompetence is only matched by their poor services. I have yet to find anything flattering or even neutral to say about my experience with them.
