PAT O’KEEFE is an exemplary employee. This rating is for PAT not Sears. Sears Home Services has a long way to go just to improve initial customer service and their communication with customers as well as employees: 1) confusion in providing parts to service staff was an issue - “who’s on first?” comes to mind. Ordered parts were NOT delivered to customer or service man which resulted in a rescheduled service call. Waste of employee’s productivity and customer’s time. (2) Multiple calls from AI “Samantha:” I experienced several back-to-back calls (including system hang-ups) within 2 to 5 minutes reminding me of appointment date and time immediately after scheduling appointment. If I did not answer, AI kept calling. (3) On the day of appointment, “Samantha’s” mode of operation continued in the same fashion: multiple calls, system hang-ups as reminders, etc. See: Same scenarios as stated in number 1) and 2). 4) Finally, the actual service from PAT O’KEEFE was performed quickly and efficiently. THANK YOU, PAT. OPINION: AI is an up-and-coming TOOL and could be useful for businesses. However, a tech should oversee the actual effectiveness in real time. PLUS: customers should have option to connect with a receptionist for clarification of service. Most people are satisfied NOT to talk with a real person especially if they are confident in a good operating system. It’s quicker. Based on the performance of Sears’ business conductions and their reliance on an untested AI reliance, I will not use their services in the future. If, of course, they could assure me of better business practices AND that Ted is the tech I’ll see, I could change my mind. It’s been known to happen. HaHa
