I have written 3 reviews and filled out the customer service form. No one has contacted me other than to keep asking me to fill out these surveys. I am deeply disappointed in the service call at my home and even more disappointed by the lack of access I have to anyone to remedy the situation.Hi, we would like to provide you with some assistance regarding the issue you are having. Even this site is terrible. The writing guidelines cover the box to type the response. UGH! I took off work for this repair 8-5. The technician called 2 mins before 5 to tell me he was "just made aware" of my service and would be at my house at 6:30 pm. He arrived, pulled out the range, told us the control panel was dead and the range was discontinued so he couldn't help. My husband said, well if I do this (shifted the wiring) it works, but there is a burning smell. The technician said, oh okay, it's fixed then. The burning smell is because you need to "clean your oven" and he went on to tell me how my kids should do it. It was NOT my oven, the thing hadn't even heated up enough to make the small spot of burnt food smell. He still charged me a $99 fee - which shows as LABOR on the invoice. Whether it was labor or diagnostic, neither of those services were performed. I demand a full refund.We apologize for the difficulties your recent service has caused. Magid knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it quickly. That was exactly what I expected. The cost for a warranty replacement compressor was ridiculously high.
