  4. Good technician- bad phone customer service

    The people who work at your phone center are horrible- I called to verify that a technician would be at my home and was told “yes” and had been given a specific window of time that the technician would arrive. That window of time came and went and no one showed up at my house. I called 1-800-4-myhome. I was then told that my Ofer has “been cancelled”. The woman on the phone was rude, had no idea and only wanted to pass my phone call off to “the master protection agreement people”. I had to then call again for another phone worker to hang up on me. I had to call again to try to schedule an appointment- I work full time and Sears does not offer any Saturday or evening appointments. Whenever I asked to please speak with a supervisor “none were working, but I could leave a voice message”. Very nice technician, but horrible call center- will not purchase any more master protection plans on any future purchases from Sears!

    We have to service our "15 plus" washer machine, the appointment setup online was simple and effective. I got confirmation messages in my cell phone as well as in my email. At the day of the appointment, I got a phone call from the tech telling me what time he was arriving, which he did to the dot! After fixing the problem he suggested ways to improve the service life of the machine, as well as options in case we want to change the unit. This is the way I would like every service call to be! Thank you very much
