The technician did a great job diagnosing the problem. The cost for gas of $6.95 was not mentioned when I agreed to the $139 diagnostic visit. The technician was very professional and helpful. The cost estimate for replacing 2 parts ($125 part cost) totaled $780., making it unfeasible to hire the company to make the repair. I was able to make the repairs myself by order the parts and watching a YouTube.Dear SUSAN, thank you for taking the time to rate your most recent service with Sears. Was told there was nothing was wrong other than the coil needs cleaning. Was told the job would cost 993.00 although I was told it would only be approx 300 to 400.00. The tech supposedly cleaned the coil, charged me 155.95 although the receipt provided was for 135.00. Said the difference was for gas. The week before Christmas I had to shut off the water to the refrigerator because It was caused major water damage to my floor overnight. Now how can there be nothing wrong with the refrigerator.We apologize for the difficulties your recent service has caused. Service was quick to "fix" the issue and leave. Only after leaving did we notice the issue was still there. I used Sears service to get my an annual maintenance check on my snow thrower. i had not used it for 3 years since I was in California and had kept it in storage. The technician arrived on time and did a thorough job cleaning and checking all the major components. He explained what he was doing and also gave me tips on how to maintain it myself. We got the snow thrower started after a few failed attempts -a busted spark plug was the issue. The technician also took the thrower outside and filled its tires with air and tested it.
