Sears appliance repair is contracted with our home warranty company. It’s been a miserable experience. First they were called out to fix our microwave which is mounted above our stove. They stacked our blankets on the stove to protect it in case they dropped something. However one of the workers inadvertently turned on the stove, burning both of our blankets. I was up until midnight washing walls because I couldn’t get the burn smell out of our home. We still had to pay the service call charge and we were never compensated for the burned blankets. Next, we’ve had them called out multiple times because our dishwasher moisturizer sensor kept coming on. Eventually the guy told us to just take out the float, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They have been here multiple times over our dryer, the last time they left it was making a god awful noise, worse than before. We finally were going to be home so we have called them back, they were originally suppose to be here at 9am, then it was changed to 1pm and now we are looking at 4pm. 1. We will never purchase a home warranty again. 2. Once this warranty is up, we will not be using sears ever again.
