The refrigerator just needed to be thawed out. Took about an hour. The young man fixed it while an older gentleman watched and was a little condescending to us when we asked questions. Not very friendly at all.

The technician - Josh - was friendly and appeared knowledgeable. I have no issues with his service. However, the wrong part was sent the first time. The (same) wrong part was sent the 2nd time. Finally, the correct part was sent the 3rd time and Josh was able to complete the repair. He had to come to my house 4 times in all (including the initial visit) to complete this simple repair and it took nearly 2 months from the time I reported the issue before it was finally completed.

Technician was 2 hours late & when he arrived he didn't have a ladder to access the attic space where the AC unit that needs repairs is located. He stated that there was no access when the technician from 2 days prior had no issue in accessing. He left the ladder along with insulation & mud from his boots on my carpet. As well, when I approached him at the condensing unit outside, he appeared very perplexed. Ultimately, I will never use Sears Appliance Repair services ever again!

On 11/21/25 Never heard from my technician , was scheduled between 8-5, finally at 5:30 received a text from a local number informing me to reschedule as technician wouldn’t be able to make calls. Rescheduled for today 11/25/25 an as of 1230pm still have heard nothing. This is 2 days taken off from work to get a dryer and dishwasher fixed. Unacceptable. AN UPDATE - At 4:35pm the tech just called and said he won’t make it today and a link will be sent to reschedule. I won’t be. I will CANCEL. Consumers have no leverage anymore , nobody cares. I am a 100% disabled veteran. I deserve better. Unacceptable service. Also I live in Athens, where Sears claim to be based, you can’t be that busy nor should when I reschedule should I be last on the list , I should be first as everyone who is forced to reschedule should be. Disgraceful customer service!!!

The technician was great top rate. Sear make everything bad. They will tell you any lie so you will not question them. You call they say your tech will be at you home between 10 an 11. How he get there at 4 pm.

I've literally been trying to get my washer fixed since May 1st. I've had 5 appointments, only 2 of which the repair person actually showed up. The first was a man name Kameron who talked poorly about my mother with his partner like she couldn't hear them 10 feet away, kept saying how he wanted to just get to a party, did NOT diagnose the problem, and then canceled my appointment without repair or ordering parts. The second appointment (after I had to call customer service to fix the issue & request not to send Kameron again after he made my mom cry) went well and they said they had to order the part. That's absolutely fine. Good. We are getting somewhere... part never shows and Sears keeps calling me to see if I've received the part. I end up calling *them* because I never got a tracking number or an order confirmation for that matter... after jumping through hoops, they inform me the part "never left the research phase". They never ordered it. Even though they've repeatedly called ME asking about the part arriving. The part actually gets ordered... a new appointment is made... the part never shows (for 3 weeks), and neither does the repair man. When I've given up on it and plan to cancel my warranty, the part finally shows up! So, I book a new appointment. I have the part. I just need someone to bring their tools and their skills to fix it. Again... Kameron is scheduled for me... and he never shows up. We call customer service, and they've somehow achieved getting an address from a house I lived in 5 years ago and went there instead. I never gave them this address. The entire time I've had the warranty, the billing, shipped part, and other appointments have been for my current address. All of my emails have the current address listed in my appointment confirmations, all FIVE TIMES. There is absolutely NO explanation for why they would have this address other than googling my name. I'm so exhausted with this scam of a warranty. I've spent nearly $600 the last 7 months since it's $60 a month and then a $100 deductible to get the initial appointment. I could have gotten a local person to fix this machine months ago for the same price. There is no saving with this warranty. There is no actual REPAIR with this warranty. I am flabbergasted. Sears used to be an incredibly trustworthy name. I am currently waiting on Kameron again as I type this. Customer service claimed we would be "top priority" today so I made sure I was up and ready at 8am so there was no chance of missing him. 6 hours later, still no word and the tracker still hasn't updated.

Absolutely a scam !!! The technician had me order parts to fix my fridge. Then did not show to repair it. My fridge started working on it's own. Sears charged me for the repair even though they did not do any work. There is no direct number to speak with anyone. I've been on hold for 45 mins now with "customer service" trying to get my money back. Absolutely disgusted with what used to be a trusted staple in my home.
