A defective power supply may interfere with the display on the control panel, and fail to protect the oven from power surges, potentially causing damage to electronic components like the main control board. Why is my KitchenAid oven not coming on?
A KitchenAid oven suddenly not getting power could have a tripped house circuit breaker.
Check the house circuit breaker for the oven and reset the breaker if you find it tripped. This may restore power to the oven.
Some ovens have a high-temperature thermostat in the control area that will trip if temperature near the control board reaches 300 degrees or higher. This thermostat will not reset so you’ll need to have the oven repaired when it won’t power up because that thermostat tripped.

Why is my oven not heating?

For an electric oven that won’t heat, check the house circuit breakers because a tripped circuit breaker can prevent the oven from heating even though the display works.

Shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven and check the bake element for damage. If the bake element is physically damaged, replace it.
