Be friendlier
This technician knew his job, but he wasn't that friendly. It's probably just his personality.
Bobbi C.,
Anaheim, CANow ice won't come out.
Marvin was a very nice and respectful service tech. He explained the problem and reset the ice maker. It's making ice but the dispenser will not allow the ice to come out. I need to have this part fixed and I don't want to wait another week and a half, nor should I have to pay another fee. Please advise.

While performing task, customer felt uncomfortable with tech moving freely though out house. Would have preferred tech remain in work area and have her come to him. Knowledge of work preformed and bulletin was greatly appreciated.

Amarillo, TXFridge repair
He seemed very stressed out and made mistakes which took much more time than necessary. In his favor, he was knowledgeable and got the job done.
John D,
Montpelier, VTNo show
My appt last week was a No show. So water continued to leak on floor. I was forced to find the problem myself and turn the water off. Today he came at noon. I showed him the problem. He said the problem was his problem or Sears problem. It was a plumbing problem. I need a plumber. Maybe so but I didn't have a leak until he rolled the fridge out to check compressor. Then again on next appt to replace the fridge. Rolling it back and forth over the water tubing pinched it and caused it to start leaking. But it's not his problem so I guess I paid for an icemaker and will have to use ice trays because I don't have the funds to hire a plumber.

Keith did a fine job. I give him a 10 out of 1-10. Customer service I give a 2 out of 10. Justification for this was submitted separately.
Claude C,
Mcclellanvle, SCThe technician could not resolve the ice maker problem.
Sears Home Services, The technician could not resolve the ice maker problem yesterday. He first tried by replacing our ice maker by a new ice maker available in his van. However, he could not make this new ice maker work. He then removed his new ice maker and reinstalled our old ice maker. He took away his new ice maker when he left the house without fixing our problem. His conclusion was that this ice maker problem could not be resolved and we would need to buy a new this refrigerator. The Choice Home website is now indicating that our ice maker problem has been resolved by the technician. Please report your correct diagnosis to Choice Home as soon as possible. Thank you.

Katy, TXWarranty work
I had to take 6 diff times off to get the original issue repaired. Parts were not installed and pushed into the trash box, and not even discussed. I am not at all happy with Sear's appliance repair..
Thomas M,
Gulfport, MSrepair of icemaker
The tech did not trouble shoot the ice maker problem. He just assumed it was all the ice maker parts in the freezer door. He ordered a bunch of parts, returned t replace them and it is still not working. So now i have to make another appointment for the repair.
Catherine L,
Torrance, CAQuick but slow
It took about a month to get this repair done. We had to have a part ordered which is understandable, but then there was a cancellation that made us have to wait almost another 2 weeks.
