Cannot service build in refrigerator

Technician said he could not service a built in. Asked why he came out since I provided him the serial number of my refrigerator. He said he could repair some things so he came. No one told me he was not capable of doing the repair. Complete waste of time and money.

Defective Product

Mr. Maurice admitted to myself and my roommate that our refrigerator was defective but said was not going to report that to GE because he is in the business of repair. Essentially he stated the only way he was going to get paid was by repairing the appliance knowing that it is defective.

Job not well done

Upon examining my fridge problem he saw that water and ice was forming outside the door edges. When we explained that mold was forming on the door gaskets he became confrontational declaring that he will not clean up mold; We never asked him to clean anything. When he found the problem(he called it a heater between the refrigerator and freezer) he said he would not attempt to remove the cover to expose this "heater" even after calling a Kenmore rep on the phone that instructed him to do so. I have scheduled another repair visit to correct this problem. I have also told the sears rep that I did NOT want a return visit from the same company to perform this repair.

Refrigerator was not repaired

All the parts that were ordered, used and unused, were left on the kitchen table, in their boxes, and the refrigerator was not fixed. When I called to follow up they made another appointment in three weeks. That makes 6 weeks without a refrigerator.

Still no ice

August 9, tech came out and ordered parts. Waited 2 weeks for this appointment today and the tech replaced 2 parts. The tech left at 1:30pm today. As of 2:17pm the ice maker is not making ice and the freezer is not cold enough to put frozen items in. I put a small bottle of water in the freezer at 1:30 pm and it is not even close to being frozen. I need someone out here today, Thursday 8/24 to fix this problem.

Tricked and lied to by Stanislav

Stanislav came to my home. I gave him permission to fix my refrigerator, He had me sign a blank cellular phone. Then he told me it would be very expensive to Fix my refrigerator. He never gave me an estimated quote. He then told me to defrost the refrigerator for two day and it would fix the problem. I told him it is OK to charge me labor and parts because I got the warranty yesterday with the $150 discount, and the refrigerator needs to be fixed, Per Abraham the license California agent. Stanislav again said to just defrost the refrigerator again and see if the warranty goes through. He said he would check things out at no charge, and make sure to defrost for two days. Additionally, He continue to say my warranty will not go through because of decline of service. I received an email after the service with my signature on a decline of service form I did not decline the service. Stanislav tricked me and lied to me to get out from working and fixing my refrigerator. This is very unacceptable and Inexcusable service that represents your company. This situation needs to be corrected.

Never did a diagnostic

He was about three hours late from his estimated time. There's an hour and a half late from the 5 PM deadline. When Sears home services sent him a message to call me at 5:30 he never did. It was clear when he came in to my house that he didn't really want to work to diagnose the problem, and just said it was a compressor and gave me an outrageous bid to repair. It was a waste of money wasting my time I will never recommend your services again. .
