The technician allegedly knocked on the door and reported no response. I did receive a phone call from the technician. I told customer service numerous times prior to this appointment that this is a rental property and so I needed reasonable notice regarding technician's arrival time (not just 8am - 5pm). Note: I could not rely on the automated "technician is on the way" messages; for the last Sears service appointment I had, even when I received the "technician is on the way" message and there was an approximately 45-minute estimated arrival window, the technician arrived over 1 hour after the estimated arrival window.

The tech was very nice

The tech Conrad was very nice when he showed up for our dishwasher repair. The problem was he didn't come to fix a dishwasher like I called about. His work Order said to repair a range so NOTHING was done. Even though the work order had the dishwasher model number on it and when I was sent an email to confirm the appointment I uploaded the tag on the side of the door with the model, serial numbers. And as asked uploaded the troubleshooting code the dishwasher displayed ( nE ) I made the appointment for the week my wife was home on vacation. Now one of us will need to take time off to be at the next ( service appointment). Trying to explain any of this to the customer service people is virtually impossible seeing that ALL I spoke with have very broken English. A&E ( Sears ) is a clown show of a customer service company! A few years ago I had to use the for a refrigerator that stopped working 3 months we were without a refrigerator ( 3 MONTHS) and they never did fix it we just ended up replacing it. So here we go again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY , DO NOT BUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. RUN RUN RUN

Sean was fantastic, but I have been dealing with this for months and it cannot be fixed. They keep trying to put the same valves the same lights in this unit and it is not fixing it. They also put a new icemaker and it does not work. I spent a lot of money on your contract, and I would expect some better performance. Everybody in your company was the only ones that worked on my appliance because you guys have the extended warranty under my name and they always showed up in one of your vans.

Technician Tommy was nice but unfamiliar with stove. While he did get the eye to light, he incorrectly put a screw in cover & left other one out. I believe he should have opened cover to reposition the inside piece so he could screw it back together properly. This morning I found this because I was getting a lot of gas odor & very large flame which also could be because something is not together correctly. Contacted customer service & was told they would not come back to correct unless manufacturer requests more service. This is a joke & I have requested manufacturer not pay for any service until this is taken care of.

Not a happy camper

1st of all I received 2 different messages on the dates of the service. The first one I waited and no one came. The second day he came and said that the wire was broken he shook the wires and it started working momentarily. He said it would be a hard fix because the wires are so short. He said that the door on the freezer side might have to be replaced if he could not get the wire fixed. We asked for him to call and see if they would replace the door. He said he called and they told him that they would not replace the door.. No repair was done. While the repair man was here he told us it was a manufacturing defect that the wires were too short and every time we opened the door it pulled the wires. That is why we asked for the door to be replaced. We thought that he was going to splice the wire and that may cause a problem such as a shock or a fire. I'm not happy. While the service man was here he received another call from another person who was working and they seemed to be having the same problem. Sounds like the company needs to fix the wires at the manufacturing facility. I went to the store where I purchased the appliances and they told me that they didn't have any thing to do with the warranty. I would like for a manager from the warranty department to call so this matter can be taken care of. We asked for the phone number that he called and he said he could not disclose that information. So how do we know if he even called? The repair should be made with original parts. Waiting to hear from your warranty department. We did not refuse for the repairs to be done we want the repairs to be made with original parts.
