Absolutely Terrible
My appointment has been cancelled twice by Sears technician with no explanation. I received probably 8 confirmation texts along with several confirmation emails and confirmed all of them but have been cancelled both times. The house is not my primary residence so we have to travel 3 hours to get to residence and have been cancelled twice now. I will never buy anything from Sears or use Sears for anything ever again.

Not interested in listening to the problem I'm having with
My thermostat or sensor in my oven is not working. The stove top burners cook incusecutively. Starts out heating slowly and takes 15 to 20 minutes to bring a small pot of potatoes to start boiling. Oven temperature goes up and down. The technicians own oven temperature meter registered at 400 degrees and it was set for 350. It came down and later registered 335 and oven switch still showed 350. 2 Burners did not heat for 25 to 20 minutes. Tech says everything working as it should. He asked what did I need to be fixed. Laughed at me and said nothings wrong there was nothing to fix. I've cooked on this stove for almost 12 years and know when it's not cooking like it has before. I just want it to cook like it always has. I'm very unhappy. I have been cooking for 60 years and know when stove is not working. It seems like sensors or themastat is working anymore.

Awful
This whole repair was the worst experience I've ever had. This review is aimed at Sears, NOT this technician. The first tech that came out started all of this. We paid out of pocket, Sears missed most of what was really wrong with our oven. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Stove
Nick kept ordering the wrong parts even order a refrigerator part for my stove. Than closed me out to were I had to make another work order. The first guy open my stove door and said cannt fixs it I said good I get a New stove under my contract he order a part which was wrong.soon as I said that..Thank God For Al he fixed my stove from the parts the2 other order day 1 ..thank you so much Al.

Oven repair
Mark is a rude unprofessional person who is not welcome in my house, he stated to my husband that Sears has their own rules and does not follow code for gas lines, he slammed the door as he left.

Misdiagnosed and charged $600
When the tech returned to do the repair, our appliance was found to have a different issue than initially determined. Tech went ahead and replaced the part stating he wouldn't have ordered that part if he'd noticed the real problem. We are still having the same issue which is not resolved. Very disappointed in the entire process with Sears Home Appliance Repair.

Repair of our LG dryer and Whirlpool Gas Range
Both the repairs could not be done. While we knew the model # of the gas dryer, the serial no/ model tag was missing on the dryer, so the visiting tech refused to work on it. Also we were told on the gas range there is a high risk of bolts shearing off when the burner was to be replaced that may need all burners to be replaced, so we decided not to. For us overall the intended repair could not be accomplished.
