This is how Sears makes money-by not actually servicing!

This "service" is one of the biggest rip-offs I have ever experienced. $139 for less than 1/2 hour to tell me he had no parts in his rental car, would have to return another day and it would cost me $650+ to replace two sensors for my two front burners in my stove. Guess what? I'll just use the back burners and never buy a Kenmore appliance again. The servicemen are so poorly equipped I actually had to give him a quarter for the parking meter!

You should send a tech that has at least seen the appliance that he is going to work on. He had no idea how to take it apart and kept looking at google to figure it out. I had to borrow him my personal tools to work on the oven. He said he didn't know what was wrong but if I still smell gas to open a window. Seriously!!!! I will never use your service again!!

Sears Repair Technician

Technician was a no show two appointments in a row. The technician didn't even have the courtesy to call me today. 31 December 2025 to let me know he wasn't comi g. I've been with Sears maintenance program for more than 25 yrs and I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been today and on 27 December 2025. On that date 27 December 2025 the technician was a no show. This is totally unacceptable and for what I pay in fees for the maintenance contract, I am so disappointed

The technician was very unprofessional. He was not a good representative for your company. I am requesting that he not be our service provider in the future. Based on emails prior to the service call, we were expecting the technician to have the required parts. He said that was never going to be possible. Why weren't we told that?

Sears is wasting my time

Michael is very nice but I'm done with Sears. Sears has wasted five work days for me. They've cancelled mid day twice. They diagnose over the phone. They still haven't fixed my oven.

Billy Destroyed My Venting System

Billy, the Sears technician, pulled my downdraft vented range out to do a repair on the oven and tore the duct system up as he replaced the bottom heat element. Trying to get Sears to recognize that this incident needs to be corrected has been a nightmare. I could not reach a person to speak, but instead was forced to interact with Samantha, an AI bot, and was repeatedly told that a new diagnostic technician would determine if the old technician had caused the issue and this person would decide if I was to be charged for their visit. I'm not sure why Billy could not have reported the incident and set up the repair. I would not now be feeling that I am a criminal trying to trick Sears. And, angry because I was not allowed to speak with a live human being.

Did not Diagnose the Problem

Harold didn't hardly touch our range. He said it was a gas pressure issue and we need to call a plumber. Our home is new construction with large gas lines and all of our other gas appliances are working perfectly fine (fireplace, dryer, heating, etc) I would like someone else to come out and actually figure out what is wrong.
