Stove
I wasnt impressed , he was unable to get behind my stove , my son assisted before he had to leave & repairman couldnt put stove back as it was before he came.

Very very poor scheduling and communication
1. Tech did stated repair. But now has multi colored display instead of original all white. 2. Appt was scheduled for the 18th. Have MULTI texts and emails stating so. I even called on the 17th to verify cuz I had to make arrangements for someone to be home. Called on 18th and asked for tech to call me 2X. No call, no show on the 18th!!!! Then on the 19th at 703am I received a text stating my appt has been confirmed. I didn't reschedule nor did someone call me to reschedule. Sears arbitrarily scheduled it. I had to scramble to have someone home at last minute. This was my first time using the sears home protection plan I purchased. Not a good start! Having doubts about my decision to purchase plan.

Not good!
My appointment was supposed to be 9/5, then changed to 9/6. I received a message saying between 8-12, never came until 4:45, stayed 5 minutes and said the heat coming from the top was normal, I've never had a gas stove getting so hot on the top. Said the peeling inside the oven wasn't covered under warranty, still should not be peeling. I do not believe that should be happening! Very disappointed.

REPAIF ON OLDER ELECT RANGE

Still didn't work
Although he was able to get the stove to heat up (while pulled out from the wall), it would not work for us. We had to get another technician to come out and ultimately replace the igniter.

Maytag oven heating element
The technician bent the heating element before looking to see how it should be installed. The technician needs training on installation of oven heating elements. I hope this process does not interfere with the heating of the oven. Thanks Maryann Ferguson

Oven doesn't work
Michael is very nice and quick but when I went to use the stove I turned it on and smelled electrical smell. Then when I used the oven I got a error code F8EO cooling fan set to low .

Carelessness
This service tech was nice however, the problems began before he stepped into my home. First the service ticket was written up for my stove and it was supposed to be for my dryer. This service tech diligently tried to resolve the issue by phone while also trying to install the replacement parts for my washer (from another service ticket). This is where the damage to the lid of my washer occurred. He was distracted trying to speak to the person on the phone while installing. First his tool box fell off into the side of my washer where he caught it. Next when he had the top portion of the washer off to install parts, the lid repeatedly banged against my wall chipping and scrapping the paint off down to the plastic in numerous places. He tried to order a new lid due to the damage he caused, but he could not as it was trying to charge me for it. He said he had to file a damage report and needed to make a call. He came back in and said his supervisor was ordering touch up paint and it would be sent to my house. He scheduled another appointment time where he said he would make sure he would be doing the touch up. We do not believe it will resolve the issue and it will always be visible. While they are cosmetic, I have taken pristine care of my washer and dryer set. I am very unhappy that damage was caused due to carelessness and I feel a bandaid is being put in place to resolve this damage. I truly feel the washer lid should be replaced and for your service tech to not have to be so task saturated due to administrative issues leading to the loss of focus.
