Tighten the service times please.
It is not acceptable to give a 9 hour window of service, requiring that people take a full day away from work to sit and wait. Also, you should leave a phone number in this new trend to online notifications. The do-it-yourself, online model is going to .push people to use smaller, more locale service companies, especially older people. The service man was great though!

incomplete reassembly
Your tech was polite and got right to the work but the neglected the complete reassembly of the oven. there are two molding partes that were left off the oven. I have had to make another appointment for these to be put on the oven. Once this is done, I will reassess my review.

Disappointed
Range top control numbers not fixed . Technician Todd lied to me about it. I'm very disappointed with the service.

ZLine oven repair
Not happy Tech arrived to repair the oven. Replacement part delivered early before tech arrived. Tech turned on oven to verify the problem. Tech then rescheduled another return visit due to the oven being hot. How hard would it have been to leave the oven door open for 30 minutes or so and let the oven cool down????

Work order speed was the priority
The priority for the technician seemed to be getting through the job as quickly as possible without care taken for my home. The side and back panels were allowed to fall loudly to the floor when removed and then stepped on while working, which they now have scratches from. The panels could have easily been set aside with minimal effort. The back panel was installed incorrectly with parts of the sheet metal bent out of position. I removed the panel to correct this after the tech left. Screws were found around my kitchen that certainly are now missing from somewhere in my oven. I know this because I have found where some screws were missing and reinstalled them. The first technician ordered a part that this tech decided not to use. I had thrown away the box it shipped in because the first tech asked me to inspect the part but said nothing about keeping the box. This tech then said he can't take the part back so now I have this extra part that the first tech had determined it was worth replacing. Lastly I found pieces of the component that was replaced under my oven. This makes me question what else may not have been disposed of or left in my oven. The job was completed and I'm glad to have a working broiler again.

Stove
The worker was good but it's bull when you have to wait on them all day like we ant got nothing eles to do cause they don't give a time

Polite service but ended up with stove top not working
The repair man came to diagnose a problem with our range oven not working. The stove top worked fine. After he left we can't use the stove top either. The repair man was polite and helpful in diagnosing the problem with the oven. The cost to repair is entirely too high unless you take their warranty plan. Waste of service fee.

Late Arrival, Unprepared Technician, No Resolution…
After waiting through a four-hour appointment window, the technician arrived 45 minutes late without notice. Although I appreciated his use of shoe covers, his overall demeanor and lack of preparedness did not inspire confidence. He appeared flustered, admitted to misplacing essential tools, and shared that he had only performed this type of inspection three times in his four years with Sears. He also seemed distracted and frustrated, mentioning he was unable to leave early for a personal commitment. Most concerning, he recommended a repair costing nearly $600 but could not provide any assurance that it would resolve the issue. Given the poor service, lack of professionalism, and absence of a reliable diagnosis, the honorable and appropriate course of action for Sears Home Services would be to issue a full refund.
