Technician doesn't like or is afraid of dogs.
Customers should know that this person does not like dogs so they can keep their dog away from him. The first time he came he said "she got right in my face." (He was on the floor in front of the stove.) The second visit we shut the dog away. He was singing and talking to the stove. He called it a monster. I thought his humor was excessive.
Margaret S,
Cloverdale, VAStove repair
Well he was a little unprepared. Arrived and said he only had one switch and needed to go to Raleigh to pick up another. Thought he would be finished by a certain time from initial arrival. We had to readjust our plans for the day. He was very pleasant and respectful
Peggy S,
Louisburg, NCOven repair
The service person, did his job well and explained the procedure. The only problem I have is with the scheduling. Two hours later them time scheduled
Diana C,
Maple Heights, OHDiagnosis Not Quite Right
Elijah correctly indicated that the burner was not lighting due to the orifice. However it was not due to an incorrect orifice (propane vs natural gas) but instead was a clogged orifice which just needed to be cleaned. Elijah indicated that a new orifice for natural gas needed to be installed but Sears techs are not allowed to perform that type of service so I had to call another repair company. They simply cleaned it.
Alice B,
El Paso, TX3rd Times a Charm!
Ijaz came to our home on June 18 to diagnose that the oven ignitor needed replacing. He ordered the part which was shipped to our house and scheduled an appt for June 28 to come back and install the part. Our window was 7-11AM and he never showed or called. We called and were told he was running late and would be here 1-2PM. After wasting an entire day waiting, we were notified at 1:14PM that it needed to be re-scheduled. Finally, today, July 3 Ijaz came and repaired our stove. This hasn't been a very good experience and it's the 3rd oven ignitor since 2017.

Susan C,
Selbyville, DEwasher and range check-up from June 14, 2024
It is beyond ridiculous to send out 8 emails after an appointment as well as the 3-4 per day the week of the appointment (texts and emails). The 3-4 per day gave us a chance to move our appointment to an earlier day. If I hit C for confirm that should do it. Brandon's service was good he found no problems.
Dennis F,
Toledo, OHIncomplete
We explained the error message that appeared and downtime on our oven. Roosevelt went to his truck to call for explanation from office of error and waited 15 minutes with no reply so he came back inside. Suddenly the oven started to work so he said to wait till it happens again.
Rhonda D,
Mount Juliet, TNWish I knew the price breakdown ahead of time
I wish I knew separate costs for the part and the labor. I was told the total first and then later saw the breakdown on the receipt. I was charged over $300 in labor for less than 15 minutes of work. And it was something I could have fixed myself once the problem was diagnosed. I should have just paid for the diagnosis.
Anna K,
Fitchburg, WINot totally satisfied!
We were happy with the work done. The oven works. But after the service man left, we realize that there was no sound at all (BEEP), for example after you enter cook time and cook power, timer and when the cooking is done from both the microwave and the oven. I called the service man twice and left a message, so far he hasn't got back to us. *We need the service department to get ahold of us to fix the problem that has occurred. Then we can say the job was completed to our satisfaction! Thank You for your help in this manner
