The service person was unable to arrive in the scheduled window, and was about 90 minutes late. Once on site he was competent and able to diagnose the problem with our range as a dead control board, too expensive to repair. He was also courteous and careful not to scratch our floor. We would have liked a text or call saying that he was running late. We also are annoyed that there is no person to call to check on service status and timing.

The tech replaced the igniter assembly but the oven still does not provide a consistent temperature. Preheat to 350 then temp drops to 301 before burner relights. That is the concern that was brought to the attention of the first tech who determined it was an igniter problem. 2nd tech explained that is the correct operation. The Maytag we had before the current Samsung did not have such a large headband.

Tech was sent back second time to recheck and do a deep electrical check on stove. He said everything is running fine and no problem with stove and that I just need to give it more time to boil up water The stove is old and no part to the unit anymore.

May I say that you are making a mistake with using AI. Throw that out the window. Rediculous, doesn't work, I can't respond to messages. I want a REAL person on the phone not gibberish that can't understand anything
