Bill is an excellent technician. The problem was parts, wrong or broken or simply didn't work. Stove can't be fixed apparently. Not Bill's fault.

The same technician has come for every call for the issue with our range. He tested the temp with his thermometer tool after installing a new heating element. I wish he would have left my store thermometers in the oven when he tested the temp with his testing tool so that we could see what temp they registered at the same time. A while after he left I set the oven temp to 350 after the oven cooled completely and my thermometers registered 375. When the oven beeped that it had reached 350, , I waited another 10 minutes and my thermometers, one older and one new, both showed 375. I will test it a few more times to see what happens. I know that being off a few degrees is normal, but I can't cook in the oven until I know that it is at the temp I need. I'm hoping that another call will not be necessary, but will call if I'm still not happy. I'm sure the technician has done everything needed to fix the issue. I know my range is older, but has been kept in pristine condition. With a new control panel and heating element, I was hoping that today's visit would have made this a done deal. As I said, I will try a few more time to see what happens.
