The technician was very knowledgeable, and he went over the stove with me and showed me how the heat that came out of the back and how that was the reason for the top of the stove to become very hot. The stove is actually too hot on the top to cook while having the oven on. I think it's a very poor design by G E, and they need to replace my stove. You could actually burn your hands. If you touch the knobs on the front or touch the pots on the top while they you were using the oven I wouldn't buy this stove again or anything like it. I previously owned a GE profile for 25 years and never had service and when they removed my stove, it worked perfectly and looks great. I replaced the stove because I was getting a different color after 25 years my daughters wanna purchase it.

It has been a horrible experience since September 6,2023. Ralph said he could only fix oven ranges not wall unit ovens but he would try. Only my top oven was broke. When he left, bottom oven wasn't working either. Told me he took pictures and orders parts and to call my warranty company a place another service call. I did many times. Then after many no calls and no shows I finally got Pilar on Oct 3rd and he was wonderful. Had to order additional parts. Then I got the best two techs Jesse and Roger on Oct 6th that worked from 6:30/8:30 on a Friday night and had to return Sat morn at 9 ish to complete. Thank the Lord I now have a working oven!! So, we were without an oven from August 27-Sept 7th.

Stove was received with door out of alignment. Problem was found after use. Repairman looked at the parts that were sent and admitted he had never done this particular repair which amounted to disassembling the front of the oven. One would think he had performed this repair many times before, he was quick, efficient and very pleasant. No more heat leaks from the oven, happy life, happy wife.
