I was supposed to have a window between eight and 12 to have a tech come out. I waited and waited and waited! Finally, he came around 430. Not giving me an explanation on why I was not notified that he was going to be late. I showed him my stove and oven and explained my problem that I was having. He sat on the floor and started looking at the oven and I sat in the chair at the table next to him. He was using a temperature gauge to check how hot the oven was getting. It had a magnet on it to hang From the oven. I asked him was that going to scratch my stove?? And he told me oh no, it's plastic. And then he rubbed it back-and-forth on the stainless steel. When he got all done and gathered his stuff and headed to the door I looked at the stove, and it was completely scratched!! I was very upset! I asked him what do we do now and he said well I don't know. He said I could call his boss. He gave me a bogus card that is a 1888 number that goes to Sears. I am still unable to speak with someone to find out how we resolve the situation. I am very unhappy!! I even asked him if he had some paperwork where he could document what happened. He said he had no way to document it. I feel like this is very unprofessional!!

Why do you keep sending techs to my house that either don't

Know what to do or refuse to do the work?? Every single time. I'm so disappointed in your service so much that I would not wish these types of encounters on anyone. I'm very disappointed that I even agreed to any of your contacts and services. I've had an issue with your service for almost a year and will be grateful when my contact is over. I do not have anything good to say about your company so please don't ask me again. I would never rate your service as anything better than a -0.

Carbon monoxide produced by the oven killed our birds

Gentleman was very prejudice and racist. He doesn't believe the Nicor Gas company report about carbon monoxide detection inside the range oven, He didn't believe our birds died, showed the picture, he was keep refuting every evidence we presented and more. At the end he stated he doesn't believe our oven is old because it's so clean. He never seen incident like this so and so forth. He was sound like racist and didn't like us at all due to our color or some other prejudice norm in his mind. Appropriate actions need to be taken.

Not fixed worse than it was

Today 2 days later oven began to smoke and dripping something like rust inside had to open windows and shut off quickly can't contact anyone in USA for sears just keep getting china or India ???? Will be requesting replacement oven

Didn't do any repair work, just walked out

After waited for the parts Sears technician ordered for over two months, this second Sears repairman came. He opened all the parts package but didn't know how to install them. He told me my stove is not serviceable. I asked him why did the first technician ordered the parts then. He has no answer, just walked out of my house. Worst of all, I later found out that he forged my signature on the accepted service estimate form, which is criminal. Sears should be responsible for its employees!

Waste of time

I took leave for this appointment. The technician arrived late, appointment was between 10 - 2 and arrived at 3. Calls me at 2:27 to ask questions about the issue and tried to convince me that it's an electrical problem. The wall oven powers up but when using the broil function it does not heat up and after a while it trips the breaker. When he arrived, he looked at it, did not use any diagnostic tools to tests to see why the broiler function stopped working. Since the breaker tripped, he blamed it on the electrical wiring. The whole day is wasted and still have the same problem.

Did not fix oven

Did not diagnose the problem correctly. Ordered part that did not fix the oven. The oven is still shutting off. In fact it is worse now. Did not appear to be knowledgeable on how the ovens worked

Waste of money and time

Technician did not call to set up a time. He just told me when he was going to arrive. I had to leave work which caused me to lose money and meet him at my house. Then he took my stove apart. Did not tell me he would not waive the diagnostic fee for repairs that were done. He was supposed to have the parts to fix the oven had no parts did not fix the oven and I had to pay the diagnostic fee and then he left and did not put my oven back together. I will never use yawls service again ever

Repair was not tested. Repairman left

Repairman installed the part but did not test the oven, stove before he left. So far we have waited two months for repairman to come, assess and fix stove/oven. But now we must find someone ELSE to check his work. Very unhappy people here.
