Technician Great...Sears not so much so.

The technician did what was asked, what he could based on the fact that he wasn't given the information to arrive with the correct parts to fix the tractor. I communicated that one of the primary reasons for the call was to install a correct deck belt. He was not told this so did not have the part. He did give me a few helpful tips and considering the distance he had to drive was a good sport.

Why is the time window 8:AM-5:PM? Not too many years ago, customers were given the option of 8:AM-12:PM or 1:PM-5:PM. It is very hard to block out an entire day, but it is a lot easier to block out half a day. It would seem to me that if you truly are interested in customer SERVICE, you would do this.

My tech was great and did a great job but once he punched in the info the bill was very high, about double what I would expect for a belt change. Regretably I wont ever call for service again and will go to a local service company

The repairman was loud, and anxious to complete the job. My repair and maintenance check tool les sthan 30 minutes. He apologized in the end but Sears should send out individuals who at least appear to be customer-friendly.

Lawrence had to come to my house 4 times since May (and it is now July )to fix my riding lawn mower appropriately! He came again today and fixed it. I don't know if it is working properly or not. I have been sick and I'm too sick to try and cut the grass to see. I think he did not know what he was doing Because the lawnmower is making a noise that it didn't make before he came and tried to fix it four times. The call center is somewhere in a foreign country and a bunch of incompetent Idiots work there. The call center made me wait 2 or more weeks each time I called , so it has taken three months to get my lawn mower fixed. I had to notify the Better Business Bureau in Chicago, Illinois, where the Sears home service business is located and filed 2 complaints before I hopefully now will have a lawn mower that has been properly fixed. We will see when I use my lawn mower again I'm doubtful! I will never use Sears home services again.!!!
