after waiting at home all day for 8 hours with the window being btw 8-5 he finally calls and shows up at 745 pm. He replaced one part and I told him the ice maker was still not working. He stopped responding text and closed the ticket out.

Terrible service

Scheduled appointment was canceled by company 6-7 times over a period of 3 weeks. We had to stay at home and wait for them to show up from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Several time they would not even show up, then you get a text at 5:30 saying your appointment had been rescheduled. Overall a negative 10 on service.

If I could give less than 1 stars I would. Technician did NOT fix problem. Once he actually came back. After 5 broken appointments. Then the supposed repair came to $128 LESS than I'd pre-paid. Been over a month now and no refund issued. Impossible to speak with a human. ALL Sears Home Services phone numbers connect to the same useless AI voice menu. I'll be filing complaints with every state and federal entity that accepts complaints. As well as Yelp, Google, and BBB. Totally a waste of time.

Horrible experience

He has now been to my house twice. He did not run proper diagnostics which would cost us double in the end if we chose to use Sears for fixing the problem. He was inappropriate in his conversations, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the entire situation - the way it has been handled, as well as the technician himself.

If i could give 0, i would. This man is a joke! He comes in blaming issue on something when he had not even looked at it. He had many excuses, kinked hose, LG doesn't have a leating coil, water not hot enough going into dishwasher when started. Takes too long for water to get to dishwasher. Said need to use spot cleaner for it to clean properly. IT IS USED. Bugs & cobwebs under the dishwasher. Throws a dead but out into the kitchen floor. He isn't a installer, not his job. I may damage floor or dishwasher when I pull it out. I won't be responsible, please sign here. There are dents in it, please sign here. The dent on outside is extremely minor. Dents on inside are from door shutting against top rack. Top water arm not spinning. He pulls it out and says it isn't installed according to code, because it is hard wired. I called our plumber thar installed it immediately. He contacted electrician, it is up to code. He couldn't diagnose issue. Stated insurance companies like to have 4 service calls before replacing if cannot be repaired. He puts a wire nut on the ground because it wasn't connected. Goes to his truck, comes in and says he had to use a nut from his own personal stash. Stands up, says that should take care of it. We asked what he did other than wire nut. Nothing, I have a call into my other service tech. Us: "Then how can it be taken care of? " Says a part needs to be ordered. We asked if a part needs to be ordered, why are you saying it's taken care of. Can't order part until he talks to someone. 2 customers called him while there. He was EXTREMELY rude to them on phone. I do not want him back at property.

God awful company and a scam

This is NOT the service that was promised. The technician had NO NOTES from the NUMEROUS phone calls including the most recent where it was PROMISED the technician was only coming out to gather the model for the refrigerator in order to REPLACE it. Instead 6 hours of work was done and not the food in both the fridge is rotten and all the food in the freezer is defrosted, and some of those had to also be thrown out. This is completely unacceptable and small claims court will now be contacted. Seers is 100% a scam of a company and has no customer support capabilities

The service technician showed up when it was an inconvenient time for me. I had a scheduled appointment from 2:18 to 2:48 PM. The service technician was unable to resolve the problem. Advise to reschedule if leaks again.

Worst Experience Ever

Sears Home Services was the service company Best Buy selected to provide the service for our service plan of an LG refrigerator that needed to have its compressor replaced. This was, without question, the worse service experience ever. The company is unethical. It provides no means to contact a human. Automation over promises and under delivers. It does not care for the customer at all and proves this over and over again. If you'd like more details, I can provide a link to a document I've shared with Best Buy and LG.
