No service provided. I was made aware of your warranty program. No thanks. Very upset that my check was not accepted and then my debit card. Finally charged for the 3rd time on another credit card!!! Service tech was polite but was more like a salesman.

The technician arrived a bit after the 8-12 service window, but I will give a partial pass on that given the bad weather (although the "on their way" call was still misleading vs. actual arrival time). Another issue was that the tech kept touching items in our kitchen unrelated to the appliance. He moved a water bottle picked up a hand towel and a glass all without asking first. While it's great that the drain was cleaned in our fridge and the filter replaced, the fridge now has a knocking sound that it didn't have before the service call!

James was courteous but not helpful. Your scheduling is completely unsat "8am to 5pm" is not an appointment, (tech called at 4pm, arrived at 5pm. Why do I have to stay home all day?), also NO WAY to contact Sears is provided other than a robot answering with irrelevant options. Also I was presented with a damage liability waiver form which was unacceptable. (No prior info that waiver was a condition of service) Sears should have it's own damage liability insur to cover any damage occurring during repair. So, tech wud not do repair and the whole appointment was a waste of my entire day. (And likely AHS will not refund my service rqst fee) U should advise customer of waiver so I can make decision to cancel before tech is sent out. Whole process is unsat!

Good work, but messy and no clean up

Benjamin repaired our fridge door and it works great. However he did not clean up anything, left packing and materials all over our main floor and then didn't take the old parts. So now we have to figure out how to dispose of a fridge door. Quite frustrating.

Tech said he cleaned seal around door and that should solve the problem but it did not. Kitchen aid dish washer still leaks.

Edgar's service in checking the refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher was very good. He told me he could not check the induction cooktop and someone else was going to come, but nobody came to check the cooktop.

It's not necessarily that his cleanliness with any different than any of the other technicians it just bothers me that they come in to touch your food and your refrigerator and literally don't wash their hands. They asked if they need to take their shoes off or to put guards over their feet but don't wash their hands when they're dealing with your refrigerator in your food.

Charles did fix my broken fridge (not cooling) in a timely manner. He also gave me advices how to get rid of the stinky smell - it worked!! and suggested to wait a day to move the fridge back to the kitchen. I'm pretty happy with his repair service. The reason of 3-star is because of the company: A&E Factory, not having an option to be able to speak to a human. Only offer 8a-5p all day appointments. Limited technician's availabilities. After emailing me a appointment confirmation, still they did no call, no show on that day, but again there was no one you can talk to or email for an urgent assistance. There was no follow up or anything from the company but I had to work on the re-schedule request/follow-up, and found out the next earliest availability was 10 days out. It was rather frustrating and a big headache to go thru A&E Factory.
