Cook top visit

Marc did not do his job, he came to my home and he totally neglected my inquiries. Marc kept emphasizing the fan being the issue on my cook top. I kindly reiterated to Marc the entire cook top is the issue, it sparks and smokes we had to cut off the power so that it wouldn't cause an electrical fire. Marc seem as if he didn't want to replace the parts that the other representative ordered. I haven't been able to use the cook top since June. Sears has been Givin me the run around. Errol Smith (regional) hung up on me when he tried to disqualify my claim based on what Marc told him. This is a racket, I paid for a Master Plan Protection. Now both cooktop and oven are not working.

Manuel is nice guy, but I question a few things. He installed 4 new parts last time to fix problem. Next morning refrig. would not cool below 60 deg! Next tech said fan not working and didn't even look into it! I suggested looking deeper into fan not working as it was working before Manuel cam to install other 4 parts! Nope, just ordered new fan and another couple weeks without refrig. Then Manuel returned to install new fan. Dug in and said, "Here's the problem, the old fan was not plugged in!" And he was the one who unplugged it during 4 part install weeks back! Wondered if he was planning on taking the new fan & selling on open market. Very strange & such a struggle to be without refrig. for a month!!!

Very expensive

I got charged 339 for 30 min job The technician did not inform us about the charge till he finished. We could bought a new dish washer

Refrigerator was not repaired

All the parts that were ordered, used and unused, were left on the kitchen table, in their boxes, and the refrigerator was not fixed. When I called to follow up they made another appointment in three weeks. That makes 6 weeks without a refrigerator.

Negative experience

Unpleasant personal experience and most importantly professionally after weeks of waiting between three visits with a dead dryer, two problem diagnosis from Bobby and two parts deliveries, he wasn't able to fix it after all.

Not happy

Made me wait all day again this is the second time I've waited all day and then he's shows up at 6pm which the appointments were both From 8am-5pm and after that he orders the wrong part so he had to come back again not happy with this Sears services I want to cancel my service and get a complete refund of services

After two phone calls and two texts and no replies he rings the door without any advance notice I'm forced to greet him in my BATHROBE! He was unapologetic and was quick to suggest seeking another technician...thus being my second encounter with Jerome. The first service call from Jerome was of a similar careless attitude. Further Jerome wrongly documented the repair concern incorrectly by stating a wear and tear part on the appliance was caused BY THE OWNER!! This resulted in non approval of repair by the warranty company...and resulted in full appliance failure causing much distress and subsequent visit by....JEROME.... zero stars really apply...but 1 star for showing up

Have a supervisor call me. 3rd time for same repair. Service was set for 8 to 5. 1st time Benjamin arrived at 7 pm the next time at 6 pm. He did nothing the 1st time. Then Gregory came and ordered parts. I specifically stated do not send Benjamin but he got sent the 3rd time and had to you tube the whole time. Problems not resolved!!!!

Bad Service

I would like to state that Sears Services is a bad company. I have had two interactions with them and both were bad. I had a problem with my refrigerator. Sears came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. I didn't see them again. I would get an automated phone call to informed them the part had arrived. I had no way to informing them from the call. I tried to call the number but I was never able to talk with a live representative. They would reschedule my appointment. Finally, I got an email stating that the job was completed and they sent a bill to the home warranty company. They never came back to complete the job. They also stated that they were unable to get in touch with me. That was the first time. I have an induction stove top that stop working. Home warranty company sent Sears Services out to fix it. They arrived at the house and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. The service guy was told of the story about the refrigerator. He made an appointment to come out the next week. My appointment was reschedule because the technician was sick and they didn't have anyone else to come out to fix the stove top. My rescheduled appointment was rescheduled for no reason. Finally, a technician arrived at my house 4 weeks later to fix it. He tried to remove the stove top and cracked the glass. He said there was damage to it. He also stated that Sears wasn't liable because they are a third party company and we have to go thru the warranty company. Long story but true. Beware of Sears Services.
