Broken washing machine
Paul only showed me how he could turn on the washer so he left but after he was gone I saw that the retaking ring that hold the rubber gasket in place was not reinstalled correctly so I called him and he returned to fix the problem. A\after he left I turned the washer on and attempted to do a load of wash. I could get the washer to start no matter what wash cycle IO choose. Again I called Paul again. This time he did not return my message to him right away. He did finally left a message to un plug the washer for about 39 minutes then plug it back in. He felt this might get the washer to reset but that didn't work. So I called him again and his next suggestion was to leave the washer unplugged off night. He said if this doesn't work then to recall Sears to report that the washer will not run and dispense water into the machine. At this time the washer is not running.. I want someone to come back out and finish the job.

Unhelpful
Unhelpful, did not bother to check inside dryer. Did not listen to issue of dryer, did not provide an explanation. He left the service site without providing a solution leaving owner confused and frustrated.

Not satisfied with this service
I pay my warranty for a reason, it has been a month and.l get no kind of courtesy call reschedule'd me 10 times. To tell me rate my technician who has not even been to my house I rate this service a 0 below 0 I am so upset. With sears Master protection service no kind of call. I got one(1) $50 check have to go to the laundry matt every 2 days to wash and dry . What kind of service is this??? So not happy

Washing machine
I am very disappointed in the service provide from this service. A technician came to my house four times and still wasn't able to fix my washing machine. They are very unprofessional and did not fix the problem but they made a problem by causing me to pay for laundrymatt service now.

Indifference
The tub wouldnt drain on the prior visit, just as the tube didnt drain requiring today's visit. There was STANDING WATER upon Alfredo's arrival. He SAID he ran tests and opened filter and couldnt find anything wrong...though lacked the skills to determine WHY the washer didnt drain...though drained during his 'TEST'. I'm assuming I'll be requiring additional followup visits until your techs arent in a hurry to leave and actually perform the necessary diagnostics. Please also train your techs to not treat my property with indifference. Laying the washer's front panel paint-side down on top of CONCRETE will result in unnecessary damage - totally uncalled for...which is exactly what the prior tech did too.

It's not Richard fault,
I am very very disappointed with Sears Home Services, 1st they only have automated call services there is no one you can talk to who is a person, 2nd you give your appliance model number beforehand for no reason as technicians are not allowed to carry the part based on the problem you describe, Richard drove all the way to Battle Creek to tell us the refrigerator can not be repaired all though its Sears brand part is not available, the only reason I called Sears to schedule a repair call given the product is there, but that doesn't help because they don't carry their product part, so so unfortunate as this was already advised to us by the other repair center local in Battle Creek on the phone with out any charge, so Sears costs us $139.00 for just telling us buy a new refrigerator as we can not repair our own brand.

Only Concerned about Payment
He did inform us that no warranty company would cover the replacement of the condenser needed for our freeze. Other than that he biggest concern was the payment.

dryer repair
Tech "fixed" Gas dryer 7/19/2025, then left. When I did laundry that evening, the dryer was making the same screeching noise that the tech was supposed to repair. Now I have to schedule another repair appointment and there is no way in any of the forms to indicate that this is a return visit because the first guy did not fix it. I had better not be charged for this 2nd visit.
