Kenmore dryer repair

Service is unacceptable and technician Sean, is not truthful or trustworthy !!! Today Sean did not come to repair our dryer -said he was here in our driveway but no one home. We were here the entire day! He came on Jan 12 ordered dryer parts, parts delivered here Jan 20. Scheduled appt Jan 29 but we were cancelled after waiting all day , notified we were re-scheduled for Feb 12 we were cancelled again for Feb 28- today- He documented that he came today and completed the repair ! HE DIDNT STEP FOOT INTO OUR HOME ! We have been waiting 7 weeks and still no repaired dryer. Warning - do not sign up for this Sears Home Service, they are not trustworthy and the service is unacceptable. Unsatisfied customer- Linda Cincinnati, Ohio

Washer Repair

Tech was very professional and appeared to know his job. He replaced a part with one ordered by another tech. He spent time running tests and what he ran passed. However, when washing the next load, the CALL FOR SERVICE error appeared again and the washer stopped.

Poor Service

The technician was incompetent and lazy. He refused to clean the little pipe/tube below the washer which collects all kinds of sludge and stuff since the last annual maintenance. This is part of the annual maintenance that I pay for. I immediately asked him to leave since he did not want to do his job and I promptly reported him to Sears for the reasons stated above.

Awful Service

He refused to clean the pipe area below the washer because he said it was not his job. This was a first. In all my years with Sears this inexperienced and unprofessional technician refused to do his job. I immediately asked him to leave. I then reported this the awful incident to Sears.

Oven not heating

The repair person did not look for the problem but came with a part. I know if that part had not worked; he would had charge again. The price is too high to repair it's better to get a new stove. A very unsatisfied customer.

I was not satisfied with the technician that came out to check on my refrigerator. I will be calling sear back to talk with a supervisor. I am unsatisfied with what the technician told me about my refrigerator. I know that something is wrong with my refrigerator.

Poor and expensive service

The diagnostic fee is too expensive evening if you have a warrant on your appliances. The 8 to 5 schedule appointment is too long. I fervently believe that cost of services, schedule time of services, and the diagnostic fee needs to be reevaluated . You maybe carry the Sears name but the consumer is not getting quality service.

Not pleased at all

When he arrived and started to work on my stove, he asked what kind it was. I told him it was a Kenmore but made by Electrolux. Then he proceeded to tell me how good he was. He also said that he should have been on the repairs from the beginning and not at this time. I assume that previous service reports are available for their review. Any way he replaced the regulator but there was still a gas leak that you could smell. His "sniffer" was also making a lot of noise and he fiddled that for awhile and said different brands react differently. At this point I was getting a little nervous at his competency. He decided that there was no leak so I asked him to turn off the gas as I could still smell gas. He gave me excuses for that and pulled the stove out again and supposedly turned it off. He proceeded to leave and I was cleaning up the area and still smelled gas so I ran out to his truck and waved him down and said I didn't think it was turned off. He came back in and pulled out the stove and looked at the shutoff valve. Then he said he couldn't remember which way to turn it off and went out to his truck. I explained how the valve should be, having worked in both a research lab for 30 years and have worked in a kitchen. While he was out I ignited a burner and the gas was definitely still on. He came back in and I told him there was a quicker way to see if the gas was still on and turned on the burner to show him. He finally turned off the gas and I checked by turning on the burner again. He made me very nervous and not knowing how to turn of the gas scared me. I would not have been able to pull the stove out. I came in and called Sears repair and spoke to them for 45 minutes. I was assured that a senior service tech would be out the next time. He, Mike, may be good as other repairs but not gas appliances. I requested that he does not come back for this issue.

Terrible service

I waited and took off work for the service tech to show up He signs off like his been here and has not showed up for the last 4 times he was scheduled. My refrigerator is getting worst. I've had the parts in my garage since October. I started this process in June with my refrigerator not getting fixed. Your warranty is not worth the paper it wrote on. I call and I keep getting the same story with the promise the tech will show up and he never shows This the reason Sears is in shape it is in. I'm scheduled for the tech to come on March 5th. I'll bet he never shows up again and I'll get the same story again when I call.

To began with the original tech did not replace the part & then the washing machine broke again and you reordered a new part same part as before and said the old part was normal wear and tear, then told me it would be covered, then your tech showed up today and demanded payment cause the home warranty hasn't paid you for the prior repair that wasn't even done. This is not the last of this I didn't pay and going to turn Sears in to the better business dept and then some.
